Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, is shaping up to be one of the most profitable movies for 2009. They’ve raked in millions of dollars already and they’ll continue to do so in the coming days as more people watch it. I’ve even heard from a few friends that they’ve watched it twice or even up to three times. The question now is, after Transformers 2, what’s next? 2009 still has a good line-up of movies and I’m psyched up to watch all of ‘em! My “must watch movies list” after the break.
GI JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA
If I’m not mistaken, this is scheduled sometime next month (July). The producers have been pimping this movie out since last year, and they even came up with special “webisodes” to set the serious tone for GI JOE: RISE OF THE COBRA. In fact, some of the more prominent characters even died in the cartoon webisodes. My only reservation for this movie is the person they casted for Cobra Commander. He looks too… uhm, wussy. Then again he’s supposed to be a mad military scientist right?
HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE
I’m a Harry Potter fan. I’ve read all the books and watched all the movies. I’m actually more excited to watch it because I’ve already read the book. I’ll be on the lookout for some of the most important scenes, especially the last part with Professor Snape. Book 5 was the start of a darker, more serious, and epic phase of Harry Potter’s life.
TWILIGHT: NEW MOON
Okay, not everyone is interested in watching this but I am. Hahaha! I actually liked the Twilight series (read all 4 books) but New Moon is the book that I disliked the most. Personally I find it to be the most boring segment and I was actually hoping that the producers would merge New Moon with Eclipse to make the next movie more interesting. Still worth watching though IMO.

Then again he’s supposed to be a mad military scientist right? ” – if ur referring to the 3rd person from the left on ur 1st pic posted-above wauks, that’s not cobra commander, that’s daestro.. he is the main villain for the early part of the film.. i think cobra commander wasnt even shown on the trailers, maybe for a suprise.. dont know.. here’s a possible look at him in the movie http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/blue1622/JGLCC.jpg not sticking with the cartoons right? they did this because they casted a known actor to paly his role so “no hiding” of the full face is going to happen @_@ and their costume design crew intentionally redesigned it to avoid the look of that of the anti-black organization called Ku Klux Klan(u know, the ones u saw on some movies, a group of anti-black americans wearing white robes and masks).. anyways check wikipedia haha

Im a huge fan of Harry Potter so its the number 1 on my to watch list.. Harry Potter 6 Harry Potter 6 might be a lil creepy than the previous films because were gonna see inferis ( im wondrin how the effects will affect the outcome ehehe.. )
