World of Warcraft has always been known as the number 1 MMORPG in the world. They’ve raked in billions of dollars already in revenues and they continue to expand to other territories around the world. They’re have been a lot of games that have been touted as the WoW-killer but no other game has more potential than Warhammer Online. One of the first and most famous Warhammer Online Forums is launching a contest where you can win tons of great prizes! It’s really easy to join so if you’re a Warhammer Online fan, this is a good time to make yourselves known to the international Warhammer Online community.

Here are the contest mechanics as posted in their forums:

Warhammer Online is coming ever closer to launch (excusing further delays) meaning it’s the the perfect time to launch a competition which will run through until just after the release of the game.

Prizes

* EVGA GeForce 8600GT x3*
* 2 month Warhammer Online Subscription x20

A total of 23 prizes up for grabs, meaning 23 winners in total.

How this works?
This is how to enter, and how to increase your chances:

1. Register on the forums.
2. Every post/reply you make will get you 1 entry in the raffle.
3. Every thread you make will get you 2 entries in the raffle.

At the end of the contest every thread and post ID will be entered at random.org and the first 23 of the list will be winners (with the first 3 winning the graphics cards). To allow for the threads being worth two raffle tickets, each thread ID will be entered twice in the list submitted to random.org

There is no time too late or too soon to enter. Having as much time as possible is great for making tons of quality posts, but with a total of 23 winners, and every post counting as an entry it’s not too hard to have a great chance of winning.

Spam Prevention
Running contests can lead to spam, so here is what is being done to prevent it.

1. All posts must be at least 30 characters in length (otherwise you just won’t be allowed to post).
2. Every post/thread must be made 60 seconds apart.
3. Any form of spam will get you a permanent IP ban.

Just follow the forum rules and don’t do anything stupid.

When will this contest end?
The prizes will be drawn exactly one month after the release of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. This date may be subject to change (it’ll be pushed forward, not back).

Terms and Conditions
If you win a 8600GT but do not want it, you can choose to take a 5 month subscription to Warhammer Online instead. Prizes are only guaranteed to be distributed if it generates 500 members and 5000 posts. Terms and conditions may change.

Yes… the Orc was really stupid in thinking that he could use the catapult to bring him over the walls of the enemy fortress. LOL. Warhammer Online really looks promising and I hope that this game is eventually brought to the Philippines.
