Valhalla Server FAQ & Download Link
Valhalla Server opens this Friday, November 30, 2007. We’re hoping that the servers will be up by 2:00PM but there’s a possibility that it might open a little past 4:00PM. In one of my previous posts, I asked you guys to post your questions about the Valhalla server and that I would forward it to the Ragnarok Team so they can answer it and I can re-post it here. I just got their reply via e-mail and most, if not all, of the questions were answered. Read the FAQ after the jump.
Here are the questions and their respective answers:
Q: How about the teleport skills of the acolyte based classes? Skill reset or just retain their skills while new players don’t get the advantage of it? Teleport clips and creamy cards? Will they be removed or retained?
A: We are working on having the lost skill points restored as usable skill points that the players can reallocate elsewhere. It might be done automatically, but if not we might enable the Skill Reset NPC for Acolyte-type jobs and Super Novices for a limited time to have this fixed. Worst case scenario would mean they might have to file a ticket to have it fixed.
Q: Will Valhalla follow the same siege schedule as Thor or an entire different schedule?
A: Valhalla will now follow Valkyrie’s siege schedule (Wednesday & Saturday)Q: Ano nga pala ang eksaktong oras na magbubukas ang Vahalana sa friday?
A: We’re hoping to launch it by 2:00PM, but there’s always a chance it might get delayed.Q: Is there a patch na kailangang i-download since it will be a new server?
A: There will be a setup file update that you need to download. It is only 3 mb. It’s like Valkyrie’s setup file.Q: Ang mga memo ng mga priests, mase save ba?
A: All warp portal memos will be reset.Q: Ang mga ikinasal sa Thor? Mananatili ba silang kasal?
A: Married couples will remain married.Q: Ang pinaghirapang e-call skill ng mga thorian guilds, mawawala ba?
A: E-call skill will be untouched.Q: Ang friends list, mabubura ba?
A: Friends list will be reset.Q: Rachel Sanctuary bubuksan ba? Or magpapakahirap na namang magbigay ng pera ang mga Thorians?
A: It will remain open.Q: May mga dungeons na para mapasok ay kailangang gumawa ng quest, kailangan bang ulitin ito? Madadala ba namin yung mga dungeon pass? holy threads? lab permit? Will these items work in Valhalla without redoing the quests?
A: Quests should be retained. (to be tested, test characters still bugged)Q: May pag-asa bang ma-implement ang flywing, bwing and teleport skill in the future? Ang mga skills at items na ito ang isa sa dahilan kaya unique ang RO. Kung tuluyan na itong mawawala, RO would just be like any other games.
A: No plans to restore these features until the bot problem is 100% solved.Q: Will boss cards be deleted?
A: No.Q: Will GR and other miniboss cards be deleted too?
A: No.

What about the creamy cards and teleport accessories what will happen to them? Since it isn’t answered.

un DUPLICATE sa commercial servers nandun parin. wala na ba pag asa mabura un? naaka imposible naman kc eh. isang buong guild may SK cards. kahit FS lang meron din aw!

dipa nga nawawala mga bot sa TESTING SERVER(valkyrie) eh.Meron pa mga sirang map,bug,LIMITED 6k players ^^.

So ang ibig sabihin ng answer ay impossible na talagang mabalik ang bwings at flywings. 100% mawawala ang bot problem? Eh almost 4 years ng may bot at wala paring nagagawang solusyon.

sir wauks kng skli kaunti n rin ang ngllaro s ibang servers like tyr, freya, etc… ittransfer rin po b cla s F2P server? kgya po nngyri s thor going to valhalla? kla q po valkyrie lng ang f2p n servr.

BUGS!!
Yung ibang character paglogin DC kaagad. LK, rogue, gunslinger, ninja classes lang ata nagkakaroon ng problemang ganun

Eto mga problema kong na-encounter.
1. My sinx and hunter ay di ko ma log in. Pag log in laging DC!!!
2. Ang hirap maka-konek! Mga 5 tries bago ako maka-konek. Pag nadisconnect, nid pang mag log out sa RO client para makapasok ulit.
3. Nawala ang teleport skill ng priestess ko, pero walang skill point na kapalit
4. Di mailagay ang mga cards sa kafra (or ganoon na ba talaga ang setting? Paano kung gagamitin yun ng iba kong character?)

Random yung character bug - login then DC or login then can’t move and stuck.
Connecting after being disconnected, your character is still recognized so after 5 tries, you can log in again dahil quit ng server yung character mo.
They said they’ll fix the skill points for the teleport skill.
The cards are character locked. Valkyrie settings.

er.. question, if i compound the card into a weapon…
say a Ninja is carrying all my cards, for example, and i compounded the Hydra Card into a Mace[4], will it be transferable by Kafra Storage?
Or… are WEAPONS/EQUIPS also CHAR-LOCKED?
if so, Talk about LAME…
