    I’ve read all 4 books of the Twilight series written by Stephanie Meyer and this has gotten me pretty excited for the upcoming Twilight movie which is scheduled for showing in the Philippines next week. My girlfriend and I already got advanced tickets to pre-shows since we’re both avid fans of the book. I really have high expectations for the movie and I hope it doesn’t disappoint. I just wanted to ask if any of you guys have read the book and if are you planning on watching the movie? If so, feel free to leave a comment on this post. Would love to hear about your expectations and feedback on the movie/book. Cheers!

      I’m looking forward to seeing this movie next week. Action + Romance = sure win.

      Follow-up lang Sir Wauks sa natitirang P500 load na prize ko. Ang sabi mo last last thursday mo pa isesend, lagpas na po ng 2 weeks di ko parin natatanggap. :swt:

      I’m going to watch Twilight not because of the books (I haven’t read them) or because if the hype (There isn’t really that much). I’m going to watch Twilight because it looks good and hopefully the story will follow. So far I’m very disappointed with the 2008 movie releases. Every movie that I’ve watched in theaters this year so far, I regretted paying for. They’re are the kind of movies that you would skip it’s theater run and just wait for it to be shown on TV. I’m hoping this can break the trend.

      Question, anu po ba yung plot ng twilight? Mukang maganda eh

    • I am a fan on November 21, 2008

      I’ve read the four books, even the fifth which is not yet legally released and not yet even finished. :) I’m no fan of reading novels and books of any kind, but the Twilight saga changed it all. I’ve got addicted and finished each book 2-4 days each. It’s really entertaining, contradicting my previous judgment about reading and books; which is boring. I’m definitely excited about the movie, and I am expecting a lot of Alice Cullen. >:)

      Try nio basahin, if you’re too tamad to do so atleast watch the movie. :P Vampires, romance and action in one story would really kick ass… it kicked mine. :D

      @The Gooseman:

      i agree with you to that issue dude. 2008 movie releases are very disappointing indeed. but then again, lets just hope and pray that a good movie will show up (in example, twilight). the book is good as far as i heard. now im hoping the movie will live up to the reputation of the book as well.

      @+C|D+:

      i think its best for u to view the movie first than knowing the plot first hehehe..expecting the unexpected things are always good for the health hehehe :)

      @gooseman & the angel-killer

      Are you sure that the 2008 movie releases are bad? Have you watched The Dark Knight? or Iron Man? Better know your sources before concluding the standing of the year 2008 as a *disapointing* year. Unless you’ve watched both and you thought they both sucked.

    • rei on November 21, 2008

      for me, movie first before the book… hehe, the same goes for the HP Series… I don’t buy the book if I haven’t watch the movie yet. So di ko pa nababasa ung half-blood prince ksi d ko pa xa napapanood hehe

    • backstabbd on November 22, 2008

      IMO 2008 movie releases are not that bad…

      Iron Man! Dark Knight! Speed racer :) !

      Those are all kick ass movies

      Well, i hope Twilight lives up to the expectations.

      @jczialcita

      My bad. My recent movie experiences were so bad that I completely forgot about those two. It feels like Iron Man and The Dark Knight was shown more that a year ago. My mistake, but aside from The Dark Knight and Iron Man, I can’t remember any other movie that I watched in the theater that I really enjoyed. Before, The Dark Knight (watched 1 time) and Iron Man (watched 2 times), the last movie I completely enjoyed watching in the theater is Transformers (watched 3 times) but that was shown more than a year ago, which is SAD.

      I heard a bunch of people talking about the Twilight books and movie, and I overheard them comparing Twilight to LOTR and Harry Potter movies. They’re wondering if Twilight will go the direction of LOTR, revered interpretation of the books or go the way of Harry Potter, ridiculed for butchering the literature. It’s too early to tell but I hope it goes the direction of the former and not the later.

      Haven’t read the books. As for the movie, early reviews from critics say na faithful ito sa books.

      The downside though is, bad acting. Wala daw chemistry yung dalawang bida.

      Math lang ata meron sila , wahahaha!!!

      Hei! I’m so excited about the movie! I hope that the Edward and Bella would really come alive in the movie. I hope they wouldn’t cut off the hunting scenes for the bloody vampire factors and of course hope that the B and E love story would mush us all. U know, I wonder if really… the no touching and kissing stuff of the blood he thirsts the most… How could they make it more romantic than any love story can?…

      Let’s all line up for twilight! haha!

    • rbin on November 24, 2008

      Ive read the 4 books, i love the action the romance is most common on all movies (boring), a twist love story is much exciting thats why the 3rd book is the best book out of them.

      and i dont like the guy playing the role of edward, i dunno why. :D

    • aux8 on November 30, 2008
