Top Websites in the Philippines (ALEXA Rankings)

With every passing day, internet access is becoming more available for everyone here in the Philippines. I can’t really say that the speed is that good, but at least more and more of Filipinos are learning how to become net savy. I was browsing through the latest Alexa Rankings and I’d like to share with everyone what are the top visited websites in the Philippines (based on Alexa). Please take the information with a grain of salt since we really don’t know if Alexa’s rankings are 100% accurate.

It’s really no surprise that Friendster is at the top. Based on a presentation done in the recently concluded Ad Congress, Friendster has 8 million Filipino accounts! We actually make up for 50% of the accounts in Friendster, hehe.

So from the sites above, which ones do you visit? Personally I’m always checking out YouTube, Friendster, Level-up! Games, and Crunchyroll.

    Ok, so I really always visit Crunchyroll, Ragnaboards (tha’s under Levelupgames.ph), Friendster, Yahoo, Google, Wikipedia, Imeem, and YouTube.

  5. it’s no surprise that msn is in the list kahit na mejo obvious na a lot of pinoys go to yahoo and google instead because of email primarily. some PCs haven’t had their home pages changed so they might still be the default http://www.msn.com. but with my observations in internet cafes, yahoo is used more than msn in terms of email and yahoo is battling with google in terms of search engine usage.

  14. Ang #1 na website para sa akin ay ang stage6…doon ako nagda-download ng mga anime series at movies. Need ko na naman ang bumili ng HD…pinag-iisipan ko kung 320-500gb(4.5-4.8k) or 1 terabyte HD(Php 16k) na ang bilhin ko. Bawal nga pala sa amin dito ang mag-surf sa mga pornsite…kasama na ang youporn.

    Bakit kaya nagkakaroon ulit ng delay ang pm sa valkyrie??? Maski yung isa kong acct ay hanggang character select na lang..tapos ay failed to connect na…sirang maps ulit??? Marami ulit akong nakikitang bot…maraming bot ang meron mga bot support priest.

    Pano yun sitwasyon namin sa URDR, kaunti na lang tao doon… pati Ragnaboards humihiling na magfree to play yun.. Pero ayaw kong mangyari sa URDR ang nangyari sa Thor. Sana magkaroon kayo ng character transfer na lamang kung di kaya gumawa ulit ng bagong F2P. At least mababawasan pa kayo ng isang server pero yun characters mapupunta naman sa ibang server na meron. Kung ako, payag ako ilipat sa Baldur yun character ko doon… sana pansinin ninyo yun sitwasyon namin.

  27. I think one of the reasons why Yahoo hit the second spot is that most Filipinos use Yahoo Mail as their e-mail service provider. Heheh. Anyway, my net browsing would not be complete if I do not visit Friendster, MSN, and YouTube.
