    SMART Bro is really getting on my nerves. When I got home last night I was all set to update this blog when my internet connection died on me again. I called the Customer Support Representative and they keep telling me the same thing – that they’ve escalated the problem to their higher technical team and I should wait for feedback in 24 hours. When you ask them if you can talk to someone else, the CSR just says “Sorry sir, you’ll just have to wait for the feedback of our Higher Technical Group”. That’s what I keep hearing each time my internet dies down, and it will only get reactivated if I bug them endlessly for the next couple of days.

    I know that Level-up is part of the PLDT group, and so is SMART Bro. All I want is for the Internet to get fixed, hehe. We’ve been getting several complaints lately from all games about the connectivity and players are asking US (Level-up) to fix SMART Bro’s connection. I’m not just talking about Ragnarok. FlyFF and RF players have been complaining also. I know that SMART Bro is pretty successful in terms of acquisition and they’ve done a very good job of expanding the internet infrastructure here in the Philippines. I just wish that after a few more months they will be able to fix their connection and train their CSRs better. They are in such a great position to boost the info tech industry here, and that will greatly benefit the online gaming industry as well.

    More posts to come within the day. I just have to finish up on work backlog. Also, I have the details on how PW players will be able to get their CBT kits, though I think it’s been announced already that the CBT has been delayed again. More details later, I’m running late for work.

      Got the same problem, it happened yesterday, at 4pm, well at 1st, I thought it was because we still haven’t payed our monthly bill. But my friends, also a smart bro user had the same problem, I just hope they do something about this.

      i couldn’t imagine sir wauks would encounter a problem like smart bro[ken]… of all people!

      just proves that the chief is human after all /heh

      good luck with those CSRs… persistence is the key… you might get an upgrade if you (or assign someone else) continually report/inquire/followup on your case.

      if i may… how do LU CSRs’ services compared to those of smart bro[ken]/PLDT reps?

      weee smart broken???!! lolz. I subscribed to smart bro for 1 year and for that whole year connection issues were not resolved so I had it disconnected and applied for pldt dsl. :)

      SmartBro?PLDTdsl? As Wauks has hinted in his post, they are like sisters. As long as the father/mother doesn’t do anything to resolve the connectivity issue that a lot of users are crying out for eversince the birth of broadband here in our country, we will still problems in connectivuty such as no connection or the regularly experienced slow down of connections.

      Sorry, but after 2 years of using the only available line here in our vicinity, i have learned that our (consumer) problems will only be haerd by deaf ears. X_X

      hay mag Globe Broadbands nlng ako.. haha prang mas maganda pa un P995 384kbps… pero sir wauks tama kayo nasi-sira yung connection tpos pag tumawag ka sa CSR nila same din yung sinasabi sakin pero wala nmn nangyayari.

      it also happen to me last night.. sometime you just have to unplug tje adapter for few minutes and replug it. XD then you’ll have connection again, but sometime it won’t work. XD

      I respect both your opinons and I agree with you that Level-up has to improve on the Customer Service angle. Hopefully we will be able to fix it as the days go by.

      pangalawang beses ko na po ito n hinde makakonekta sa levelup games. sa games nila at sites. walang problema s levelup. at ngayon pang limang araw na po n ala kaming koneksyon s levelupgames site at online games. mabilis naman po ang aking konekson at nakakaaccess po ako s ibang site. sana po masulusyonan powe ito kasi pangalawang beses n powe ito. maraming salamat.

      AMF! wala nanaman OLgames! 6 days na, ok naman pag nagssurf lang ako pero sa OLgames di na makapasok pati sa LU website ayaw di. sino ba nag bblock sa OLgames? smartbro ba? o site ng OLgames.

      Kainis nmn oh, 2 times na ako tumatawag sa CSR ng SmartBro-ken and lagi nila sinasabi monitor ko ung connection in 24hrs, amp 48hrs na, wala man lang sila forum na pede mo silang murahin oh paglabasan ng sama ng loob. Kung wala lang contract cguro matagal na ako nagpalit ng contract. Tae…

      SmartBro-ken tlga!. Fatal kaya sila siguro di gumawa ng forum para di sila mamura! SHIT sila. nka prepaid na smartbro-ken ako. Potek minsan 30 mins ko walang speed connection pero naka connect siya sayang lang oras ko. sayang pera potek.

      pag humangin or umulan ng malakas nawawala conenction then after that babalik pero panay naman RTO tried possible solutions na baka sa akin lang problema..pero ndi … smartbroken lang talaga.. if i have any other choice i wont continue to patronize their service …
