Team Philippines Beats Japan, Will Face Thailand Next
This match was one of the more fun matches for the day. The crowd cheered for both Team Philippines and Team Japan. I think they were cheering also for Team Japan since the people at Japan were really friendly and er… happy. I can still remember them jumping up and down when they were introduced in the opening ceremony yesterday. It’s a good thing though that Team PH was very focused and they were able to take out Japan with a very aggressive offensive push. With that, Team PH advances to the semi-finals and will take on Thailand today. Note that Thailand has already beaten Brazil and Taiwan. They are definitely one of the strongest teams in the field and Team PH will really have to put their best foot forward if they want to win their next match. First round of the JAPAN-PH up is on the top while the second round is after the jump.
PHILIPPINES VS JAPAN ROUND 2
Thailand is the defending champion of RWC 2007. I’m not sure if any of the old players in 2007 are in this year’s team but one thing is for certain - they’re really good. They showed amazing skills in their match against Brazil and they’re likely to really give Team PH a hard time later this afternoon. Let’s all pray for Team PH as they face one of the most challenging opponents in the tournament.
Will post again later. I’m currently uploading the pictures and videos that I got. I’ll post them later when I get back to the hotel. Cheers guys!

I saw the matches of both Team PHL and Team THA; I’d say they’re both very competitive.
