    So… did Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-li suck that much? Were any of you able to watch it and can share with me how was the movie? I was supposed to watch it last Saturday with my girlfriend, sister, and my buddy but the schedule we were gonna watch was canceled. According to the cashier, the movie was a gigantic flop, and that there was a screening which had less than 5 people. We consoled ourselves with having this picture taken with those costumed men who stand still for hours.

    Damn it, the movie sucking so badly made me sooooo curious that I really wanna watch it now! Hahaha! I’ll try to find time this week to check it out at the movie houses (if there’s still a theater showing it).

      Critics favoring the first SF Live Action film with Van Damme on it sort of tells you how bad the movie really is. ahaha. Poor Chunners.

    • Wauks on March 2, 2009

      @Mopz: Van Dame and Raul Julia > Kristin Kreuk? OMG. Lol.
      @Rico: Must watch dahil lang kay lana lang? hahaha :P
      @Natural D: I’m actually working on that post. Should be up tonight. xD

      Forget Hollywood. Street Fighter 4 is a hit regardless of this bomb.

    • Xiphias on March 2, 2009

      The only thing good in the movie is chun li… trust me…

      M. Bison = Sucks – no psycho ___________ attacks
      Balrog = is ok
      Vega = So lame weak
      Nash = I HATE YOU!
      Story = written long long time ago in a galaxy far far far away from street fighter.. well not really you see some similarities here and there but other than that… well lets just say they took chun li from street fighter and some of the villains and heroes… then made them all realistic and typical badguys and goodguys EXCEPT chun li.. then mix a lot of bad actors into the equation then you get an epic failure

      [This movie can be compared to the Lakers last last season when only kobe and lamar odom were the good players in the lakers team.. in the sense that you have one amazing actor and one good actor then you mix them with a terrible team and you get well... a terrible team where the amazing actor have to carry everything to try and please the crowd]

      i downloaded a CAM ver. via torrent with decent audio video. All i can say is, if you’re a street fighter geek, you’d be disappointed.
      What can we expect, it was hollywood made w/c targets US and Europe viewers were street fighter is close to unheard of.
      I burned and have my dad who knew nothing about SF watch it and he thinks it was OK for an action flick with a decent storyline.

      C’mon! I’ve seen better plots & dialogs in porn… I mean, If Chun-li wasn’t an Interpol agent in this movie, Why would we care about Nash and her slutty partner?. Vega was supposed to be a Spanish narcissist assasin… They turned him into a Low-life henchman, just like Balrog, good thing Michael Clarke Duncan plays him.

      Avoid this film if possible, but if you watched it already, look at the bright side: Every single bad movie We’ve ever seen, just got better.

      at saka kristin kreuk as chun li is wtf?

      kahit na may dugong chinese sya e di sya bagay sa role na chun li. chun li is a pure asian girl. -___-

      hehe The Later Years Chun-Li is part filipina. I finally got around to reviewing the movie. http://www.animesou.com/?p=919

    • robhiengler on August 6, 2009

      Hinatasou seriously you gave the movie a 7! Have you even watched a movie that isn’t 70’s porn? Because all your review said was “the women are hot go and watch it!”. The acting was poor, the fight scenes laughable, the story line non-existent the dialogue atrocious and the only resemblance to SF are the names and the poor moves they tried to pull off. Seriously the spinning bird kick looked like a 60’s disco move it was that lame, and don’t get me started about the kikosen which was actually a hadoken. This movie made JC’s SF in 1994 look like the Dark Knight that’s how bad it is.
