Ragnarok War of Emperium 2.0 Videos

Ragnarok Online is due for a major update next year when we finally get to see the highly anticipated War of Emperium 2.0 (a.k.a. WoE Second Edition). I blogged about this new update last July in Seoul, Korea, when Gravity revealed their development plans for Ragnarok Online. Next year will definitely be a big year for us because we’re really pushing Gravity so we can update the Philippine servers all the way up to Episode 12.0, the patch that includes WoE 2.0.

Doddler was able to get actual video footage of WoE 2.0 action from the kRO test server and I’m reposting them here today. Watch both videos after the jump!

One thing I can definitely say is that the maps are huge! We still don’t know the other features that come with WoE 2.0 but the terrain looks much more tactical compared to the first batch of WoE maps. In the initial article about this, Gravity explained that there would be obstacles and tougher guardians in the map, but this remains to be seen. I’ve also yet to find out what the prizes are for maintaining these huge castles.

  12. what makes those videos look awesome is not just maps but the LAG-LESS gameplay droooooolllll…. sarap kung walang kalag-lag ung labanan gaya ng mga yan. pwede ka magstrategize and really do it perfectly without being irritated by the lag that happens EXACTLY at CRUNCHTIME… when that happens it always makes me pull my hair out in disgust. XD

    PA-OT. Pwede bang gandahan na din ang drops ng mga agits sa Valhalla? Or make it very unique. Kasi ang mga nakukuha ngayon sa TB eh kayang-kayang mabili din sa hypermart. Kung tutuusin mas maganda pa nasa hypermart since ang mga fud stuff doon eh level 10 sa TB level 3 lang.

  27. the maps are huge for a reason: you do not need to go from one map to another anymore. napansin q kc its a big problem eh (kahit may 10 second grace time na u wont get hit by anything literally) if u have to go from 1 map to anoter kc u’ll just end up being creamed by defenders. sana ginanyan n rin nla un WoE ver. 1 agits natin hahahaha pra masaya lalo ^_^
