Ragnarok Valkyrie Server Survival Guide
Ragnarok Valkyrie Server continues to grow everyday. More and more people are starting to hear about Philippine Ragnarok Online’s free-to-play server and it’s good to note that the community is becoming more robust and lively. Various bloggers have also already started talking about Ragnarok Valkyrie and one of them is Chaos-pioneer Master Diwa. He wrote a short but comprehensive survival kit about Valkyrie and I’d like to share it with everyone here.

There are three major paths you can take when starting in Valkyrie, one is called The Way of the Grind, the second is called The Way of the PHP, and the third is a mixture of both. It’s actually quite self-explanatory, I just coined some fancy names for the sake of this guide. But before we go there, here are some very basic facts you have to know about Valkyrie server.
Diwa is able to explain very well that Valkyrie Server is really for everyone. If you are tight on budget and you really want to play for free, you can actually do that without buying from the Armory of the Gods. It will be a difficult path, but it’s still an option. Always remember that the slotted equipment was just moved to higher level monsters and MVPs. You can still pick them up through hunting and farming. In fact, majority of the cards are still available through dropping. The Armory of the Gods (Item Mall) is there to make life easier. You can buy slotted equipment, cards, and various metals. If you have extra cash to spend and you want to get a boost in Valkyrie, you can top-up and get some Rok Points so you can shop for more advanced gear.

@Wacky: Yeah I noticed it too. Don’t worry, we’re going to have a check of all hardware on Monday to optimize the server.

btw, I’m not sure if Vanguards are summoning monsters in leveling fields… but here’s a sneak preview of one of those events that happened earlier in Prontera Culverts Spawn Point
I didn’t have time to document the first one in Louyang Field 01, I was busy running away using my mage. A lot of owl dukes and owl barons were summoned instantly there.
