Ragnarok Valkyrie Server Patch Notes (10/17/07)

Philippine Ragnarok Online’s Free-to-play server, Valkyrie, gets a lot of fixes and updates today. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to post earlier because this was really a hectic day for me. I literally had to do loads of stuff for Ragnarok, Ragnarok 2, and business development stuff. Anyway, I compiled most of the changes we did today for Valkyrie. Sad to say we weren’t able to fix Hollengren so upgrading is still not possible. More details on everything that happened in today’s patch after the jump.

All Worlds

- Please be advised that the Wizardry Hats (all colors) cannot be stored, traded or sold through vending.
- All Godly items can be dropped and stored but not traded or sold through vending.
- Nokia Event NPC (Gaspar)
- Nokia Units removed from the monster drop list

Valkyrie

- Please be advised that crafting materials bought from the item mall are not working yet.
- Steel and Iron are removed from the Armory of the Gods
- The following cards are now AVAILABLE at the Armory or the Gods:
Mummy Card
Goblin Card
Scorpion Card
- Kafra and Warp tickets can no longer be stored, traded or sold through vending.
- Skill/Hot to be fixed
- Hollgrehen is still on vacation.

Again let me clarify the reason why Hollgrehen is not yet present. Upgrading with him has a critical bug wherein there are NO SAFE LIMITS. You can actually blow up an item you bought from the item mall from +0 to +1. Gravity has promised that this will be fixed by next week’s maintenance.

I’ll post the over-all weekly update in a few minutes.

  4. How about the character slots? 9 na ba talaga yun? If not, panu yung mga chars na nsa 4th-9th slots?


  5. @SLOTS: yup it looks like 9 slots na talaga siya. Gravity can’t restrict it to 3. @BOTS: We’re doing our best to solve this. We’re currently negotiating with other security providers other than Game Guard and Gravity. For now, we will increase MP recruitment (Midgard Police).

    wanna roam around valkyrie but don’t have the time to power play like i used to if u can call it that eniweis.

    dapat lahat ng MP(Midgard Police) me Police Cap(a hedgear that is non-tradable, symbolize to serve and protect)

  12. Aw… It’s sad to hear that Hollgren and the others are still not available… Hmm, sir wauks, is mobster card ever going to be added in the armory of the gods?

    wag lng sana puro income inaasikaso nyo para fair nman sa lahat tanggalin lhat ng bots!!!

  15. I think it would be better if you also post this weekly patch notes in the RO website or RagnaBoards because not everyone knows your blog. The patch notes can take of the questions of the people for the meantime therefore I think that the patch notes is a must to be read by the whole RO community.

Sir Waks… pwd ask if pwd mkakuha d2 ng full client ng ragnarok philipine version? may ragnarok kac aq pero sa iRO kac..eh hnd aq mkalaro ulit pag ubos na load,,hnd gaya d2 na pwd load lng ng card.. if posible, pwd aq mkahingi ng full client ng pRO na w/ server nah.. please namn po.. qng pwd paki email nlng d2 lannz_domain@yahoo.com… salamat po…i hope u grant my request…
