Ragnarok Valkyrie Server - Hollgrehen’s Return

Philippine Ragnarok Online’s free-to-play server, Valkyrie, will finally have Hollgrehen back in the Prontera upgrade shop starting November 7, 2007. However, Gravity has made life harder for everyone because Hollgrehen will no longer have the safety upgrade limit. This means that your items can explode from +0 to +1 if you use normal upgrade stones. Only enriched eluniums and oridecons can assure the old safety upgrade liimts. It’s sad that we weren’t able to convince Gravity to restore the old settings but we have to move on. To soften the blow on the community, we’re permanently reducing the price of Enriched Eluniums and Enriched Oridecons in Valkyrie Server.

Suhnbi, Enriched Upgrader

Normal Eluniums and Oridecons can still be used but please note that the safety limit is no longer in play. To use the enriched upgrade stones, you can talk to Suhnbi who is also in the Prontera Upgrade area. The good thing about this is that it will be more affordable to make +8’s since the price drop is very big for Enriched Upgrade Stones. The bad thing is that if you want to be assured of a +4 armor, you’ll need to spend for Enriched Upgrade Stones as well. If you’re lucky though you can gamble using the normal Eluniums and Oridecons.

  15. sir wauks!! wla po ba actions mgagawa ang GM sa mga BOT? obvious nmn na bot ung character ng isang player eh… iisang coordinates ginagalawan nila… dami dami dun sa byalan lvl 2 bot party pa!! yan ang may kasalanan ng delay eh pag madaling araw wla delay dahil 2log ang mga tao pero online ang bots…. pang pa delay lng yan kung may rights lng aq mang ban manghuhuli aq 24/7 eh >.


  16. Monitor natin tomorrow yung bots. We’re going to test one of the anti-bot things that Gravity developed. It’s not 100% sure yet if it will work pero we will try it pa rin.

    kjvc - What part of that explanation didnt you understand? Its not LU’s decision but GRAVITY’s. Cest La Vie! Im deeply affected by this too.. I bought lotsa Oris and Elus agad on the 1st day pa lang ng Valk. /sobinezz

  30. OT lang, how about ung Steels and Oridecons sa item mall.. di kasi magamit Ori’s sa forging eh… and the steels, sobrang hirap. dami reklamo ng mga players OP raw price ng elementals.. eh pahirapan pag kuha ng rough ori, ores and iron. sobrang baba ng drop rate!

    I’ve already tried and tested, enriched ori does work on lv 1 and 2 weapons. I got my specialty jur to +4 just now.

    Worth 5 php nlng ung Enriched Oridecons while 10 php naman ung Enriched Eluniums.

  37. Mukhang malabong magkaroon ng +10 set ang players ng valkyrie. Napakamalas ko pa naman mag-upgrade…nasubukan ko nang mag-basag ng 70pcs muffler sa comm’l server…2pcs +7 muffler lang nagawa ko…ang laki ng nalugi sa akin.

    Pinagtataka ko ay kung bakit inabot ng halos 1 month bago i-announce na wala nang safety limit ang pag-upgrade??? Sana ay murahan pa ang E elu at E ori para marami ang ganahang magbasag ng weapons at armor. Or maglagay na rin lang ng mga over-ups sa cash merchant???

    Sana may sumilip ngayon, sana di laging pinagpapabukas.. Baka bukas magmanual na mga yan. /e1

    sana lang kahit once a day may MP na nagchecheck sa mga famous botting haeven. Magbbigay ako ng mga maps na madaming bot:

    1. Izlude - sa respawn point (halatang bot agad)
    2. Byalan 1, 2, 3 - dami din dyan
    3. Comodo - sa respawn point
    4. Thara Frog map in comodo - uber dami bot dyan
    5. Einbroch - sa respawn point - napakadami bot karamihan mage na nag-ffirst aid
    6. ein_fild03 and ein_fild04 - Infested na din ng bot.. Kung di bot yung main char may mga FS bot na kasama
    7. Sleepers map - yan check nyo dami din dyan
    8. Wildrose map sa geffen - daming farmer dyan (Sana madetect nyo rin main account nila)

    Macheck nyo yang mga maps na yan laking tulong na.. Daming mawwlang bot. Less bot = Less bug. Pansin nyo pagmadaming online laging bug yung guild,party,friend, at pm.

    SANA WAG NYO BALIWALAIN TONG POST KO! THANKS ^^

    48 hrs lang tapos na. mag 2 weeks q na inaabangan aba naman. wala pa din. 4 sure wala na pake LUG kung bot ka man o hindi. kc nga KUMIKITA na sa LOAD. BTW B>p100 = 1.2m

    And do something about the bot. Masyado na garapal mga botters, wala naman kayo big action na ginagawa (and I mean BIG).

  48. It’s sad that after aq month of waiting this is what we receive, nasayang yung pag bli ko ng elus at oris haaay… btu anyway, will the refining cost still stay as is? I was hoping that also of maintaining the price of the enriched elus and oris the refining cost would be returned to normal (at least)

  49. if there won’t be any safe upgrade limit, they should at least copy the upgrade system in PW wherein the item doesn’t get lost in a failed upgrade. nawawala lng ung pluses. since we already paid “cash” for this items and we will have to use “cash” to risk an upgrade tapos mawawala lng just like that… valkyrie is becoming less and less attractive with all these aggravated further by inaction against botting. increase MPs in hotspots. assign MPs to monitor 24/7. hire more MPs.


  50. I also have a follow up question… is the evil ears enabled in valkyrie? Pano po yun? pwede po bang gamitin yung satanic chain at yung elven ears from the item shop as ingredients for the evil ears po? or is it still unavailable? thnx!

    gawing 2 server ang valk para di gnun ka lag dba tpos tapon nyo n ung ibang server dhil ang laki nman ng kita nyo sa Valk e.. i-merge nyo lahat ng commercial server para mabuhay ulit sila..
