Ragnarok: Valkyrie Helmet Quest Guide
Ragnarok Online, the most successful MMORPG in the Philippines, gets updated next Wednesday, September 5, with Episode 11.1: Rachel. There will be new maps, monsters, items, and the slot enchant system that players can get into once the commercial servers goes up after maintenance. One of the cool things that Rachel brings to the table is the new quest headgear that players can go after. One of the strongest headgear is definitely the Valkyrie Helmet. It completes the much coveted Valkyrie set which is currently the symbol of power and prestige in Rune-Midgard.
Valkyrie Helmet [1]
- An ornate, winged helmet worn by the warrior maidens that serve Odin. Part of the Valkryie Armor Set which offers additional bonuses if the entire set is worn.
- 5 DEF, 5 MDEF
- 100 Weight
- Upper Head Slot
- Refinable
- Can only be used by Transcendent Classes
- +1 to all stats when worn with Valkyrie Armor, Manteau, and Shoes

The Valkyrie Helmet quest involves a lot of hunting. The ingredients are really hard to come by and it will take a while before someone can actually get everything together. To start the quest, go to Hugel and talk with Ghenirhemin. He’s the old man with wearing the cool robes. You can find him in the south east section of Hugel.
He’ll ask you to show 10,000,000 zenny as proof that you’re wealthy enough. It’s part of his philosophy that actual wealth represents power so this is reflected in the quest for the Valkyrie Helmet. Once you’ve shown the zenny, he’ll ask you for the following items:
1 Sageworm Card
1 Argiope Card
1 Dryad Card
1 Wooden Golem Card
1 Bongun Card
1 Pirate Skel Card
1 Marduk Card
1 Hode Card
1 Elder Card
1 Nightmare Terror Card
1000 Rune of Darkness
1000 Bloody Rune
10,000,000 Zeny
If you have all the stuff that he’s asking for, then congratulations! You just made one of the most powerful headgear in the game! I’m a bit worried though that this quest won’t be available when Rachel goes up on September 5, 2007. According to the Sakray testers, the NPC is still bugged and it won’t give you the headgear. The issue has already been escalated to Gravity for fixing and hopefully it will be okay when we launch it next wednesday. EDIT: The GM Team just confirmed that the NPC is now fixed! You can do this quest once Rachel goes up next Wednesday!

I doubt anyone can get this anytime soon. because the bloody rune is dropped by monsters in Rachel sanctuary and to open the sanctuary, the server must donate a sum of 500,000,000 zenny before it could open…

ung bloody rune pohh ay nkukuha sa rachel sanctuary..
quest pohh kau dun ng pagpasok tpos poh sa lvl 2 mga isilla at mga vanberk atbp.
ung darkness rune nman ay nkukuha pohh sa odin temple mga skogul at frus….sa skogiold din pohhh
