Ragnarok Valkyrie Free-to-play Server Video

Project Valkyrie has been getting a lot of attention lately despite the lack of promotions. However, we expect it to gain momentum starting today as we begin revealing more information about the new free-to-play server of Philippine Ragnarok Online. So many questions have been asked - including if will it really be free-to-play and what are the server settings. I can tell you now that some of the maps will really be PK enabled, but not all like URDR. We’re planning on activating the PK feature only on MVP maps and other areas. To kick things off, let me share with everyone the Ragnarok Valkyrie Teaser Video.

  3. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice :) Oh yeah, lolz on the valkyrie edit haha. So we now know it’s x1.5 EXP and normal drop rate, free to play and PK enabled boss maps. But what I *don’t* get is the “Armory of the Gods” part. Care to give more details on it kuya wauks?


  4. I don’t expect Valkyrie to be AI-unfriendly since seeing Thor, there has been no solution to prevent the AI’s from connecting although there are MP’s who are actually banning the bots.

    If Valkyrie does indeed become a AI-unfriendly server, please put some active MP’s there just like in Thor until you get a permanent solution on preventing AI’s to connect in Valkyrie.

    For the meantime, while the MP’s haven’t banned the AI’s yet, we could all kill them! Provided that they are on that PK-enabled map. /gg

  5. Lolz nevermind… I just finished watching the entire vid… so basically slotted gears and cards are from the armory and won’t be dropped by monsters, or dropped din sila?

  8. I’ll post more information regarding the server settings over the weekend. The micro site should go up next week. That will contain all the details as well :)

  10. UU nga pala.. Sana yung pag bumili ka ng cards, parang booster pack…

    Select ka ng type (i.e. Weapons, Garments, Armors) tapos random cards ang gagawa.. Meron rin level.. Level 1 Booster pack, Level 2 Booster Pack and so on… Just my 2 cents

  13. sir wauks, OT Lng pow, kc ung ragna client ko nasira!!!! and it’s impossible to reinstall the game kc ang cd ko d2 Louyang pa!!! /sob d rin ako makabili ng Latest na CD kasi I think walang available d2 sa General Santos City. malapit na pong magsembreak and I’m hoping to play ragna to chill and relax but my client is cracked!!!/wah/sob d ko rin alam kung san ang pnakamalapit na outlets na pede kong mabilhan ng latest CD!!!   17. @RoiMaru: Don’t worry, updates will come in the next few days. I’m just riding on the blogger bandwagon by talking about Valkyrie, hehe.

    ibig ba sabihin nito di na nag drop nang cards and slotted equips? panu mga rares, thru rok pts narin?

    cguro di kasali MVP cards sa buying by rok pts. kse mukhang magiging main events ang pag hunt MVP dahil pk enabled

  23. since f2p naman ok la na mag benta nang cards thru rok pts. kaso wag nman sana pati poring card nasa item mall parin haha.
    may list ba nang mga cards na thru rok pts lang?


  24. Akala ko para sa mga mahirap ang Valkyrie server kasi free to play… para sa mga mayaman pala kasi mas malaki pa magastos sa Rok points kaysa sa P100 load per week. swt

  30. Suggestions on Valkyrie..
    1.) Monster would still drop cards, armors[], weapons[] but with lower drop rates than normal.
    2.) Dont sell boss cards at the item mall, im sure it will be monopolized by rich people.
    3.) Enable teleport to save points, and still sell butterfly wings.
    4.) Players who do not respond to chats should be reported to vanguards, and subjected to monitoring and banning if proven to be a bot.(At least a good way to fight bots if cannot really be fixed technically)
    5.) Its ok to sell Ori’s and Elu’s at the item mall, just increase the success rate. Or rather, just let it be dropped by strong monsters with less drop rate than normal.
    6.) Have a community guide for the zeny=item price equivalent to avoid over pricing.
    7.) Have a 24/7 Vanguard to watch Midgard.

  31. guys it is really hard to handle bot programs… im sure these are inside jobs… thats why LU cant really neutralize bots… the best way is to have a GM or Vanguard online, to handle bot reports from real players… We just need to help each other to fight bots…

    ang hirap ng - 5 sa exp pag 98 ka na basta mga ganun lvl. ilang oras 1 percent taz isang iglap ayun. MASAKIT UN. dami pa bullies.

    mabenta pala ung item na hindi mababawasan exp mo item mall LOL

    MAUTAK…….. hahaha ngaun ko lng naisip. sana naman MADAMI PONG PULIS D2 sa server na 2 .
