Philippine Ragnarok Online’s free-to-play server, Valkyrie, gets a major update tomorrow for the Armory of the Gods. Hunters have their elemental arrows and Mages have their spells. Melee characters like Knights, Blacksmiths, and even Assassins have Sage Endow and Elemental Converters. Both of this options are hard to get and mostly involve help from other classes. Tomorrow melee characters can literally double their killing time with the latest addition to the Armory of the Gods!
When the servers go up, we will be selling Elemental Converters. I have some screenshots which will show how effective these things are. Check them out as well as the price list after the jump!
Here’s a screenshot of a Knight doing a bash with just a tri-carded weapon:
She’s able to do 800+ damage. Pretty impressive. However, here’s her doing the bash again after using the Water Elemental Converter, effectively turning her weapon into a tri-carded Ice Weapon which is the primary elemental weakness of the High Orc:
Damage literally doubles! She does 1600+ with her bash. Elemental Converters will be sold for only 5 Rok Points a piece (25 cents). I don’t expect everyone to use this 100% of the time, but this will definitely help in levelling and MVP’ing for melee-based characters. This is just the Bash Skill. Imagine the damage a Mammonite or a Bowling Bash can do!

If I only had this when I was still playing my blacksmith, lol. I would have used a vadon/minorous two handed axe and use ice converters to massacre minorous in mids/sphinx. hehe.

@Dhan: Yup 3 minutes duration, so reco ko is to use it only when there are big EXP mods or when you are MVP’ing. Para sulit. If you will use this 100% of the time medyo magiging mahal :heh:

hi wauks. sorry for posting this again, but i think you really need to hear this out. i just cant help wondering if you’re aware that botters are still around and taking advantage of our new home, valkyrie. it looks like some of the bottable cards/equips are still dropping from monsters. examples of these are pupa, smokie, hydra cards and poopoo hats, which are sold in bulk in prontera. this can be a real disadvantage to legit valkyrie players if left unchecked. i hope you’re aware of the situation and are planning to take action against this in the near future.

Buti nalang sa assasin may elemental weapons na.. Kulang nalang mobster card at jur[3] para masaya na buhay naming mga sins..
yung piso mo 12 minutes lng, tapos, yung 5 pesos 1 hour, 119 pesos 24 hours.. ouch masakit din pla sa bulsa kung ikekwenta mo..
sana hanggang 5 mins bwat scroll…

ang mahal po sir wauks, ang duration lng nya is 3 mins, mas magiging OK po sana ko ayusin nyo nalang ung problem regarding forging materials, para may maka forge na ng elementals.
Wala ako sinabi na meron EXP mods. :heh:
@Pathfinder: I’m fully aware of that man and we’re trying our best. Gravity has been working on something and we also comissioned someone outside of LU and Gravity to do something as well. If all works out, the new system can be tested soon.

and my concern about bot pede ang gawing pk map ung mga all time favorite bot maps? ang kakapal kasi ng mga MUKA ng mga botter na yan eh, mga tae sa ragna
@Wauks Players who tried out Valk can’t connect to the commercial servers. LAging sinasabi naka log in pa din ang account sa Valk. Nasasayang na ang load nila sa commercial servers since Valk won’t let them log off. Sana maayos naman ito ngayon.
Frankly i’m a booter sa chaos 2 yrs ago. The reason i bot bcoz sayang ung RO 350 if i will just play 2 hrs a day. We have no luxury of time to play 12-20 hrs like others do. But in valkyrie it doesn’t matter if we just play 1 hr a day during our free time bcoz there is no lod. Even if i am a botter before i strongly suggest the Valkyrie will be a bot free server. I agree with pathfinder this is our new home. Maraming bumalik sa RO ulit coz of valkyrie. Hope the botter will not screw up this new found home.
I don’t mind spending my pesos to hypermart, anyway no lod naman. But i just hope that the Bot problem mabigyan ng solution. Ok lang cguro if tuloy bot sa commercial server kc added income un sa LGU. Nabubuhay ang LGU sa lod in other commercial servers. But in Valkerie, u the LGU income comes from hypermart sales, so bot is the most unwanted player in Valkerie.
I admit that it’s more fun that you are the one na nagpalevel ng ‘yong cha. At least you work hard for it and you will love the thing more lalo na pinaghirapan mo.
any other incoming updates beside this one? i hope they will put the pots(hp & sp) which can be bought in the hypermart. : )
