    The Philippine Ragnarok Online server merge is still on-going and we have our ICT staff working with several Gravity server and database engineers. As per the latest announcement posted on the website, there is no definite timeline yet on when we can have the servers up and running due to the complex process that the merger entails. The team obviously encountered problems but I’m sure they’ll be able to resolve it pretty soon. Anyway, that’s the bad news. The good news is that the Ragnarok Team has decided to slash the subscription rates of the game. Check out the new prices and a copy of the official announcement after the jump.

      ako wala na akong balak bumalik pa sa RO. mas masayang maglalakad lakad sa totoong mundo kesa maglakad lakad sa loob ng ragnarok world hahaha. Goodluck na lang sa mga hindi pa nakakawala sa kaadikan sa RO. /heh

      I found out that New Chaos was up at 02:30AM. I checked my 5 accounts and all of them have something wrong. 4 accounts have characters missing from Tyr, and those characters are worth saving. 1 account has all Tyr charactersbut those are novices with duplicate names for my Freya characters but only the Tyr novices got suffixes. I won’t be able to change the names of my real Freya characters. Also the change name option is not available.

      I had setup my 5 accounts so my characters from Baldur and Freya have duplicate names in Tyr so I’ll be able to use the name change. Almost all my characters are named after Star Trek characters but I’m not a Trekkie anymore so I want to rename them.

      Ano to, walang modified experience? After two days of maintenance, parang wala lang nangyari? Pano na yung load namin sa two days na yun? Yung sale niyo ng items ay di sapat. Tsk tsk. Sana iannounce niyo kung meron o walang mod exp. Nakakadismaya sa totoo lang.

      I’m hesitating to open my account(s)…. I’m too afraid to see what have changed… kasi baka ma-badtrip ako…. andami nagkaproblema… noong nag merge ang loki at chaos hindi ako affected, kaso too late ko na nabasa tong announcement na to… need ko pa to DL a new client… hayz….

      Wala na di ko na mafeel ang PRO, tinry kong bumalek nabored na ako. sana mag labas na LU ng malufet na MMORPG like ragna.. Same old story pag mas matagal ka ng nag bobot mas malakas ka.

      As it turns out, the only characters in Freya that was eligible for name change are the ones with duplicate names in Baldur. If your character has a duplicate name in Tyr but not Baldur, only the character in Tyr will have a suffix and the one in Freya will retain it’s original name. REALLY? It sure was nice if that was included in the Server Merge FAQs. Also, we were not informed that not all of the slots in the main account of split accounts would be filled. I deliberately setup my accounts to be split in two. I was with Freya server but I had also actively played at Baldur and Tyr before I stayed in Freya. I left 1 main character in Baldur and deleted the rest, I left 2 or 3 slots empty in Freya for my main character in Baldur and Tyr, making sure that my main characters in Tyr had the lowest numbered slot among all characters then leaving the rest of my characters in Tyr I wanted to keep to be split into a second account. But that didn’t happen. I got my character from Baldur and characters from Freya and a few empty slots in my main account. My characters from Tyr are missing. I didn’t want all of my Tyr characters separated in a split account, I thought that I would get at least keep one or two of them in my main account. Are all of my Tyr characters in a split account now?

      I have 5 accounts in RO, they are played by me, my sister and youngest brother. I loaded all 5 accounts 50PHP each just to arrange them for the merge. I had hope that this merge will be the reason we come back to RO but it just turned us off more. This is the last 250PHP I’ll spend in RO. This time RO definitely lost 5 playable accounts and 3 players. I gave RO a last chance but it failed. EPIC FAIL!

      This is the biggest mistake that LU have done. Lalong nawala ang gana ng mga players na maglaro sa pinakaprecious game ng Level Up! *Sigh*. I was about to check rin sana kanina e kaso ayaw ng change password at forgot password. Buti na lang hindi pa ako bumibili ng card. Nasayang nanaman sana. Kawawang LU, pabagsak na. hahaha. Goodluck na lang sa inyo kung paano nyo papahalagaan ang natitirang players ng ragnarok, im sure hindi magtatagal yan. /no1

      wauks binabasa mo ba negative na siasabi namin tungkol sa pamamalakad ng LU sa ragnarok? kasi kahit sabihan namin na masasama binabalewala nyo lang. hindi nyo kasi muna kinukuha feedback ng mga players mismo bago kayo mag-decide.

      Like many players, I am quite disappointed with the outcome of the server merge.
      1. Very long server downtime – expected time 20 hours, it took more than double.
      2. Slash in subscription rates is only temporary – it’s only a promo!
      3. After a long wait – no EXP mod!
      How will you expect old players to come back if even active players like me are thinking to quit! LU should think more and listen more to us customers, we are the source of your income. Is it that hard to give 5x EXP once in a while to make us happy?

      Wala silang pakialam dahil ang iniisip nila sila ay pera lamang at walang quality ang service. gaya nga ng sabi nila ng iba na kapag maraming nagquit dahil jan, maari pang matauhan ang LU. Tawa ako ng tawa sa new campaign ad nila na BALIK RAGNA NA! Nakakapangilabot hahahaha.

      Good thing na disable nila ung godlies… balik sigla na ulit ung pvp rooms! patas na lahat and maraming ulit gusto mgpvp… unlike dati andaming megingjard nkkwalang gana tuloy mg pvp. Sana permanent disabled na ung godlies. /no1

      walang kwenta strategy nila.. imbis n dumami player.. lalung kumonte player nila… no exp mode, no load promo sa 500load tapos hangang dec. lng ung promo nila sa load… add nyo n ako sa maraming player n mag qquit… gudluk nlng sa sales nyu LUG.. im sure bagsak yan.. hahahaaa..

      hindi magiging F2P kung magmerge ang F2P at P2P, yung armory of gods from f2p ang for sure na madadagdag pero yung f2p malabo.

      sir wauks, pa check po sa technical team ng LUG ung about sa pag unlock ng account sa ragnarok sa gamer sim… mukhang naapektuhan kc nung nag merge… d ko maunlock ung account ko since kahapon… nung tumawag dn me sa customer support sabi may mga players na gnun dn prob… sana maaus naman un….

      Maganda siguro kung maglagay ng mga bagong idea at event sa ragnarok. Manghingi ang LUG at Gravity ng mga suggestion sa mga players kung paano pa mapapaganda ang ragnarok…katulad ng:

      1. Magkaroon ng stat bonus ang mga #1 sa pvp room. Halimbawa kung ikaw ang #1 sa pvp room izlude meron kang +10,000 sa HP habang nasa loob ka ng pvp room.

      2. Event na GM team vs players sa pvp.

      3. Card game na katulad sa final fantasy 8.

      4. Mga bagong status symbol items in-game.

      5. Rentable na mode of transporation…ex. dragon na pwede mong sakyan na katulad ng pecopeco…tapos ay meron pang stat bonus kung nakasakay ka roon.

      6. Magkaroon ng trial period na walang load tuwing siege time.

      7. Maganda rin sigurong idea na mangopya ng idea sa ibang online games???

      Im sure LU will also implement stat reset, and char name change, just like iRO (but need to pay cash).
      LU is listening, check out ragnarok website. I am quite satisfied with what they are offering now, I will surely top-up my account.
      But what will LU do regarding permanent slash on game time rates?
