Philippine Ragnarok Online has been having a lot of technical issues lately and I’d like to take this time to shed some light on some of the problems that we’re facing and what Level Up has done about it. This will also act as the late community concerns update which I do in the weekly update.
Valkyrie Connectivity, Bots, & Guild/Party Bug
A few weeks ago Gravity sent in a team of engineers to fix the technical issues that have hounded Valkyrie. They were successful in fixing the log-in problem but we were left with the disconnection and the guild/party bug each time the number of users exceed 6,000. FYI – the koreans have already gone back home but they will be sending a different team to address the guild/party bug.
Another issue is the bots. Let me make this clear – Level up does not want bots in Valkyrie and Valhalla. They are unwelcome both in the gameplay and business aspect. They take up server bandwidth making life harder for the real paying players. One flaw of the MP program is that the MP’s tend to focus more on Valhalla. We’re rectifying that by coming up with a dedicated MP program for Valkyrie – and we will have a larger team since the population of Valkyrie is really overflowing.
Baldur Siege Problem
Baldur has been having their own share of problems lately since they’re having a hard time sieging because of all the bugs that suddenly pop up during siege time. This was already escalated to Gravity because Level Up has literally done everything humanly possible to address this issue (including changing and reformatting all Baldur-related hardware). I’ll talk with the RO Team on Monday to see if they can come up with more compensation packages while we’re waiting for the fix.
This is basically the comments and suggestions post for this week. If you guys have any other issues or concerns, raise them now. I would also like to ask for suggestions on how you would deal with the current problem given our restrictions. Again – please be constructive.
To end, let me apologize to the citizens of Valkyrie and Baldur. You deserve the best gaming experience possible, and we will continue to endeavor to fix all the bugs at the soonest possible time.

I Strongly Agree about the Overflowing of population in Valkyrie but it is NOT because of manual Players playing it but because of the HARVESTER BOTS.. 10K manual Players? I doubt it..

kung walang bot,walang dupe walang bug problems at WOE problems di ba, tau ang sumisira sa RO eh. ako nag start ako sa RO wala pang load noon, no problems pa or bugs, pero nang nag simula na ang bots
dun na simula na rin ang mga bugs at problem sa RO lumala pa nung lumabas din ang dupe, nanakasira di ng function at stability ,kung may ibang function din ang pumapasok di ba? parang virus sa level up ang bot at ang dupe eh, di rin ntin cla masisisi kung tau din ang gumawa na nakakacra sa RO di ba.
kahit lumipat ang ibang players sa RO2, kung ibang players ay gagawa ng paraan para magkaroon ng bot sa RO2, eh masisira din ang RO2 di ba, nasa atin kung gus2 natin baguhin ang RO na walang bugs or iba pang problems. UN lang ^^ ang masasabi….

hmmm.. as far as i can see sa service ng LU.. napapabayaan nah nila ang pRO.. ung mga Event-Related Vanguards, suplado at suplada.. i thought they should have a gould attitude towards players. sana nmn mag hire na kayo ng QUALIFIED tlaga.. look.. many problems na nagpatong patong sa inyo.. BUG in WoE, Dupe Items in Commercial Servers, and many more.. grabe huh.. load plang.. nkakagastos na ako ng more than 10k.. wow $_$ money nga nmn.. each player.. sana kahit d nah maxado madami naglalaro.. ayusin parin yung service.. madami nah akoh nainterview na friends.. why did you quit ro? some says “nakakasawa” “wala nmng bago” , funny pero totoo.. sana nmn.. at isa pa..
