Apologies for not being able to update anything yesterday. I went to the wedding of a very good friend of mine who was actually my guildmate when I was still active in Ragnarok Online in the Chaos server. Anyway, I’ll make a separate post for that. For today, I’d like to promote the upcoming live event we have this weekend! Level Up sponsored the annual Ozine Fest and we’re having several activities to make the event more memorable and exciting for everyone!

WHAT: OZINE FEST 2008
WHERE: SM MEGA TRADE HALL 2
WHEN: APRIL 5 - 6, 2008
WHY: Watch Cosplay and get in-game itemzzzz!

Here are the activities we have lined up for Philippine Ragnarok Online:

HEADGEAR FESTIVAL
April 5 Only

Eligibility
- All players from any server

Mechanics
- Pick any headgear available at the item mall (Hypermart or Armory of the Gods)
- Recreate it in REAL LIFE and get a chance to get it in-game plus a top up card!
- Winner will be determined based on the ff criterion:
- 50% Accuracy (identicality)
- 30% Creativity (how it was made & what it is made from)
- 20% Originality (compared to what the others chose to recreate)

Prizes
- Champion: recreated headgear + 350 top-up card
- GM Cassiel’s Choice: recreated Headgear + 100 top-up card
- GM Chastity’s Choice: recreated headgear + 100 top-up card

How to claim prizes:
- Top-up card will be awarded on the spot.
- For headgears, a claim sheet will be provided and the winning team shall input their username, character name & server. Headgears will be awarded on April 9, 2008. (Winners must write legibly their username, character name & server. Failure to do will result in the forfeiture of prizes.)

FREE Play
April 5-6

Mechanics:
- Register at the registration table.
- Play Ragnarok – Valhalla Server and pick-a-prize after.
- Get a chance to win one of the following from the pick-a-prize:
- Poring doll
- Poring bag
- ID Lace
- Level Up Gamer Sim
- Bubble-gum box
- Insurance package
- Token of Zeigfried
- Kafra Card

How to claim prizes:
- All prizes will be given on the spot
- If in-game item, a Redemption code will be given and the player should redeem the prize on the redemption site. http://account.levelupgames.ph/ro/itemredeem/index.aspx
- You may claim your items via the Redemption page 30 or 60 days starting from April 7, 2008.

By the way, to everyone who posted concerns in the weekly update, I’ve already forwarded them to the team. I’ll give an update once I get feedback. For Perfect World players, I have the feature list for the upcoming patch but I need to clear this first with the GM Team before I post it here.
