Ragnarok Anniversary Event: Rok’in @ 5!

First, let me congratulate everyone in the Ragnarok community! We’re actually celebrating the 5th year of the first and most successful MMORPG in the country. It’s amazing if you try to think how big this game has become and how many friendships and relationships it has created. Personally, I find myself indebted to Ragnarok not just because of the career, but also because of all the people I’ve met. Anyway, to commemorate this special occassion, we’re going to have an in-game event called Rok’in @ 5 wherein you can win special Poring Cake Anniversary Hats! Details of the event after the jump.

Rok’n @ Five Quest Event

Eligibility:
All Ragnarok Players

Goal:
Complete the Blue Cards R.O.K. O.N. and get this:

Poring Cake Hat
A special hat created to celebrate 5th year anniversary of RO in the Philippines (item feature will disappear after September 30, 2008)
MDEF, CRIT, FLEE, Perfect Dodge +5
ASPD +5%
Reduces Cast Time by 5%
Skill Delay reduced by 5%
Def: 5

Mechanics:

1. 5 Vanguards will be situated in 5 towns holding the Blue Card Letters R.O.K. O.N.
Vanguard 1: Holding Letter R blue card.
Vanguard 2: Holding 2pcs Letter O blue cards.
Vanguard 3: Holding letter K blue card.
Vanguard 4: Holding letter N blue card.
Vanguard 5: Redeeming Station. Players will trade the ROK ON Cards for the Poring Cake Hat.

2. Answer the trivia question each Vanguard is displaying on his Chat Room and enter the answer on the Chat room’s password field. Trivia Questions will be announced during the event.
3. If player was able to enter, it means the trivia question was answered correctly.
4. Get the Blue Card from the Vanguard and proceed to the next Vanguard for the other letters.
5. Complete the Letters R.O.K. O.N. Once complete, you may now claim your FREE Poring Cake Hat from Vanguard 5. Please exchange ROK ON Cards for Poring Cake Hat.

Note: GM Names of Vanguard 1 – 5, map names of destinations and trivia questions will be revealed on the day of the event via in-game announcement. Players MUST complete the 5 Cards (R.O.K. O.N.) until 7 pm ONLY.

Event Schedule:
5pm – 7pm : Quest completion
6pm – 8pm : Prize redemption (T> your R.O.K. O.N. Blue Cards for Poring Cake Hat)

July 17 (Thurs) – Valhalla
July 18 (Fri) – Baldur
July 21 (Mon) – Tyr Server
July 22 (Tues) – Valkyrie
July 23 (Wed) – Freya

  3. everytime na may pa-event at lalabas ang Vanguards, late sila.

    Hindi maganda ang event na ito. Hindi kasi lahat makakasali. Maraming mga players ang may pasok sa school at sa office sa ganyang oras.

    Plus the fact maikli lang ang oras.

    Sana ginawang quest na lang. At npc na lang ang kakausapin para anytime mapupuntahan. And every player of RO can do this.


  4. Maganda kasi ang prize so I think it’s just that this is an event not a quest. Although I agree na sana hindi lang one-day event, at 2 hours ang quest completion at prize redemption time.

  6. I agree with Artemis. Sana naman yung event na lahat ng players may chance na makasali. Sana rin walang expiration yung effect nung headgear.


  7. Dapat libre yan kapag nag load ng 350 o 500 na Rok Points. Hirap kapag Vanguards ang sinali sa event. Tech problems hinders the flow of the event…

    sir wauks kelan nu balak iupdate mga sprites ng mga bagong equips?

    ang baduy kasi tingnan di nmin maramdaman na bago ung mga gamit iupdate nu nman PLEASE!!!

    saka tuloy pa din ang petition ko na maglabas ng book type weapons
    (giant encyclopedia and ledger of death specifically)

    at ung new boss card mag august na wla pa boss card ang july sana STORMY KNIGHT ilabas nyo PLEASE!!

  10. Aww… Not everyone can attend on specified dates/times for their server… There’s not much to celebrate about if only a few people could get the headgear… It should have been made a quest so that everyone can still acquire the headgear.

    It’s not much of a party if not everyone has a party hat, don’t you think? :(

    Well, this is a bit disappointing. T_T


  11. Happy 5 Years for nothing. The Rideword Hat [1] that you are selling at the Hypermart isn’t working. It’s been a month already and you guys still haven’t made a any public announcement/apology to the players. Are you really gonna do something about this or not?

    late na nga po nagstart yung sa freya, tapos di pa madeal yung gm. .. sa alberta lang po yung madaling ideal .. kasi 3 pwede sa pub.. hay .. sana sa top up nyo nalang nilagay toh pra marami meron .. :(
