Thank God for people like Doddler who really invest time and effort in researching and trying out the latest updates for Ragnarok Online. He’s been playing his Knight in the kRO Test Servers and he posted screenshots of his Rune Knight (Ragnarok 3rd Job) in action! I’m just re-posting some of his pictures here so that everyone can see what the future holds for one of the most famous job classes in Ragnarok Online. Before anything else though, let me confirm that the Rune Knight does indeed ride a draconic creature similar to the Petite. Say goodbye to your loyal and lovable Peco Pecos!
Oh man, the new mount looks so awesome. I can’t believe that Gravity really pushed through with this idea. What would even be more cool is if Gravity allows Rune Knights to pick from a variety of mounts which give unique bonuses. Maybe that’s something they can add in the future. I’d certainly love to see a Rune Knight driving an Apocalypse or a Vesper-like mount!
Doddler, you’re cool and all but why are you still wearing a Pink Hat? Hahaha!
Anyway, that’s it for now. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that this patch will arrive in the Philippines soon. There’s no confirmed date yet so all we can do for now is to really wait.

Geez. Rune knight looks gay. doesn’t look awesome at all. specially while the rune knight is mounting the ferus. it looks totally gaaaaay O_O fat bish knight and nab looking armor.

warlock has been recently been previewed, pero wala pa rin balita sa mechanic, g.cross saka ranger, pati na rin sa alt jobs… im curious to see how they’ll implement the mechanic’s attack turrets (a feature whitesmiths were supposed to have), or if they’ll be having other surprises as well.
for the g.cross hallucination walk should also have been implemented as sinx, pero in hindsight i think they’ll implement it like the alchemist’s homun… summon clone that you can control for a duration or something like that, just like how mercs or homun are controlled…
ranger… more traps… and the assumed wolf mount… we’ll see…

may certain month n b kung kelan ilalabas ito sa pRO? mukhang matagal pa kc since 3 pa lng na job ang nagagawan ng sprite….
2lad sabi ni unknowingly, i think may iba pang episode na ilalabas before yan…. pag nagchcheck kc me sa ro.doddlercon.com, may mga certain features pa dun na wala pa sa pRO… i think lng naman… ehehhe….
i hope madaming bumalik sa patch na yan… eheheh!~

I think those spheres are his runes. Maybe they haven’t completed the special effects for the Rune Knight and they’re using existing ones temporarily. That’s just a guess.
Even though the idea of the Rune Knight is awesome, I’m very disappointed with the look they chose. It seems that most of the 3rd jobs are going for a muted brown color scheme, which, looks like fecal mater, cr@p, sh!t, and various other synonyms. Pardon my french fries.
