Wow, it looks like all the rumors we’ve been hearing about the Hunter 3rd Job, the Ranger, is true. As you can see in the picture above, Rangers will have the ability to summon Wolf mounts! Finally, a job class outside the Swordsman group will get to have their own mount. I would rather have this mount than the Rune Knight’s Dragon mount.
As for the other abilities of the Ranger, there are no specific details out yet but according to the iRO Future Wiki, it will have a lot of skills revolving around traps. It’s high time they put more power behind those traps because trapping became a forgotten art when they nerfed it a few years ago (the part where your allies can get trapped).

mas maganda siguro kung mas tignan nila ng pansin ang fire power for rangers.. kze ung mga hunter at sniper sila ung parang nagiging “assassin” dati… nde na ignore def ung falcon tapos -ranged attack damage pa..

SO… when will the 2nd & 3rd Class Job of Gunslinger & Ninja will be??
The Gooseman on February 14, 2009
@PrimeUser: Most likely never!
Where’s our Gun Meister and where’s our Kage? It seems that Gravity is only focusing on expanding the job tree of the original 6 first job classes. The expanded classes and Super Novice are being left out.
The way monsters and other classes are growing even stronger, the expanded classes and Super Novice have turned into something of a joke. All these new dungeons and maps and you can’t visit them with your Ninja without being massacred. And forget PVP. There isn’t an expanded class character that can hold his own with a Transcended character class. Let alone future 3rd job classes. Aside from Soul Linkers, who are no more than buff slaves, expanded classes don’t have a place in PVP. How about the Taekwon Master? Oh please! They’re no more than a glorified nuisance. Flying around and draining SP but can’t barely kill anybody and don’t forget he’s only strong in 3 out of hundreds of maps in RO.
Face it. Better delete your Ninja, your Gunslinger, and your Taekwon and trade them up for a Mage or something. If you wish hard enough he might grow up to be a Warlock someday.

@The Gooseman…
very well said. i feel sorry for my fellow soul linkers… it seems Gravity has no future plans for us.
i’m hoping they’ll give a skill quest for Spirit of Ninja and Spirit of Gunslinger.
