  • Ragnarok 3rd Job Class Rune Knight Possible Skills

    In my recent post about Ragnarok Online’s 3rd Job Class Rune Knight, I listed the concept skill names which were released by jRO and kRO. There’s been a lot of talk going on about what these skills do. The names are really something and you can literally derive tons of possible abilties from them. For example, there are several skills with the word “Dragon”. Does this mean that the Peco Peco might be replaced with Petite-like Draconic Mounts? If so… then that would make the Rune Knight 10x more cool than the Lord Knight (ROFL)! I was discussing this with one of the Ragnarok GM’s here at Level Up and we made up our own list of what these skills do. Note that this is just purely theory and there is no basis whatsoever for these descriptions.

    ABUNDANCE
    - Bonus HP

    FIGHTINGSPIRIT
    - Bonus Attack Speed and Attack Power

    STORMBLAST
    - Ranged Skill attack.

    VITALITYACTIVATION
    - Bonus Vitality

    STONEHARDSKIN
    - Increase defense similar to Champion’s Iron Body

    GIANTGROWTH
    - Increased attack power

    REFRESH
    - Increased HP regen Rate

    CRUSHSTRIKE
    - Super powerful melee attack (lol)

    MILLENNIUMSHIELD
    - Increased Def of Shield

    RUNEMASTERY
    - Faster Rune Regeneration

    DRAGONHOWLING
    - Increased damage while riding a Dragon Mount

    DRAGONBREATH
    - Your mount breathes fire

    DRAGONTRAINING
    - Use Dragons as mounts

    IGNITIONBREAK
    - Something like Magnum Break

    WINDCUTTER
    - Ranged attack with Sword

    HUNDREDSPEAR
    - Strong melee attack using spears

    DEATHBOUND
    - Execution like attack. Can only be used when opponent’s HP is less than 25%. Auto Kill.

    SONICWAVE
    - Stronger version of Wind Cutter. AOE.

    ENCHANTBLADE
    - Plus damage to sword

    How about you guys? What do you think these skills do? I just found out that they also released the Guillotine Cross concept skill list so I’ll be going over those as well. Cheers everyone!

      Rune-powered Knights mounted on dragons = sexy :)

      The dragons are summons of the knights that uses Runes. Different Runes different Dragons.

      Cross Ripper Slasher:
      same with ninja long haze slasher but rips armor of the target.
      Rolling Cutter:
      spins a blade in the owner to protect. like ruwach cguro.
      Hallucination Walk:
      creates an illusion of a character.
      Cloaking Exceed:
      may parang skill ng stalker ung can be detect ng ruwach.
      Poison Smoke:
      same sa prof. na Fog pero color green once a character get into it ma poison sya.
      Venom pressure:
      Increase venom
      Weapon Crush:
      Destroys the weapon of the opponent.
      Counter Slash:
      Like counter ng knights.
      Weapon Blocking:
      gives a certain chance to avoid melee attacks.
      Poison Weapon:
      Like enchant poison.
      Antidote:
      Like cure for bleeding,curse,blind etc. ^^Þ
      Creates New Poison:
      Bagong lason ^^.lol
      Reaserch New poison:
      Increase damage of edp.
      Dark Illusion:
      Creates an illusion of shadow .
      Cross Impact:
      Strongest melee attack.
      Venom Impress:
      its like implating or insert a venom to the opponent.
      Phantom Menace:
      Increase damages using skills.

      sa def mo o kaya mag ppalit yung atk sa def pra masaya yung breaker

      knowing gravity, they will make another useless skill and another over-powered skill
      parang ganito

      RUNEMASTERY
      - This skill is a special mana for Rune Knight, they are required for some skills of them to be used

      DRAGONHOWLING, DRAGONBREATH, DRAGONTRAINING
      - Increase damage and defense against dragons, increase experience gained on dragons

      HUNDREDSPEAR
      - Strong melee attack using spears, improved version of spiral pierce

      as for Gil-X, its name skills are made again for solo pvp type, wala nanaman PVM/party contributions
      pero may chance na masmaganda yung mga skills sa thoery naten

      Gawin mo nang evade all attacks ung weapon blocking ng gx at d lng melee. ung parrying nmn ng LK applies also to ranged attacks. Woot

      @damned: Eh anu naman? We are free to speculate.. It’s not like the people here are emo and will cut themselves if the dragons didn’t turn out to be mountable.. =p

      At least may umaasa at excited pa rin sa mga bagong content for RO. Anyways it’s not a big deal if the dragons would be mercenary-like instead of mounts..

      I’m more interested for GX.

      Yep, we are indeed free to speculate. I just don’t want to be disappointed. Hehe. But it’d be great if dragons will be mountable though.

      I disagree, though. I think it would be a big deal if dragons aren’t mountable. Dragon mounts would be much more kickass-looking than lame (for me) monsters following your character around. Haha.

      i dont believe in dragontraining that ur able to mount a dragon but i think it involves something about how a RK benefit from a dragon….
