    I’m glad that you guys liked my previous post on the Warlock 3rd Job Class Overview so I’ve decided to quickly do the next one. For today, I’ll be discussing the 3rd Job Class for the Archer/Hunter/Sniper – the Ranger. This was actually one of the first 3rd Job Classes that Gravity talked about in last year’s Gravity Festival and maybe because the Archer is one of the most popular jobs in Ragnarok Online world wide. In the Philippines alone, Archers are at around 17% of the total registered population.

    Basic overview of Ragnarok Online’s 3rd Job Class – Ranger, after the jump.

    The Ranger look will be a little bit modern compared to the other job classes. They’ll be wearing military clothes – camouflage with leather accessories in several parts of their body. This gives them a very powerful and serious aura since the clothes symbolize authority and strategy. Personally, I think they’re more of marines and special ops because of all the skills that they have.

    So what do Rangers do? Well, before anything else, they summon Wolves. Yes, you read that right – WOLVES. No more little cute birds that fly around your head. These are big, monstrous, and fanged wolves that I’m talking about. There are even rumors going around that Rangers can actually mount these wolves similar to the Knight’s Pecopeco. It’s also being circulated that Rangers will have a lot of buff skills as well as combo attacks for their pet Wolves. it will be very interesting to see how this will all add up, don’t you think?

    Other than the wolves, Rangers also have enhanced traps. These are more powerful versions of the ones existing now with an emphasis on single traps that produce massive amounts of damage or multiple status effects. In addition to those, Rangers will also have area-effect traps that one can use effectively during siege/war of emperium.

    The only question now is… will they use guns, sniper riffles, and all the shiat? Or will they wear marine clothes and still use crossbows? Hehehe. Only time will tell.

      sa pagkakaalam ko, only 2nd jobs lng ang pwede mag changejob into 3rd job characters…

      Wla pa ba new features sa Commercial Server?, puro nlng F2P new Quest Order of Odin, Premium Service. Unfair na tlga. kung dun kyo kumikita edi Free To Play mo na din lhat ng Servers nyo.

      hmmm, will there be imbalance kaya pag dadami na ang buffs ng ranger? and the wolf thing…prang may wind walk n cla plus the wolf mount..will they be the fastest walking character na sa RO? tapos i kinda dont like the suit much..prang mas ok un sniper eh..but i like the sound of the improve traps they will have ^^

      Pano po kung tatanggalin ang falcon ipapalit ang wolf tapos ang build mo e int/dex/vit(Falcon Assault Type) ibig sabihin wala ng skill na Falcon Assult, BlitzBeat useless na ang Steel Crow. Malamang papalitan cguro yan ng Wolf Assault, WolverinBeat at SteelClaw hehehe
