So how’s everyone doing? The rain has really been picking up and it looks like the prayers of the farmers and rain dancers have been answered at long last. As for me, I’ve been very busy in and out of the office. As most of you guys know, I’m slowly shifting my focus to Ragnarok 2 because that’s my new job. GM Tristan and the rest of the pRO Team will be picking up where I left off and they’ll be focusing more on Ragnarok. For the past week I’ve been meeting potential partners for the launch and it’s been very exciting. I can’t say who the partners are but I can promise everyone here that RO2 will definitely be one of the biggest things to hit the Philippines this year. I’d like to take this opportunity to share with everyone some of the major highlights that Ragnarok 1 has accomplished.
LEVEL-UP & COKE
Who can forget the infamous in-game coke vendo machine? I even remember buying a lot of those just as memorabila, hehe. Do you guys still have the in-game coke cans? There was also the COKE: BUKSAN MO PROMO, wherein you could win Level-up Game Time by taking a look under the bottlecaps.
RAGNAROK & JOLLIBEE
Level-up Games partnered with Jollibee Foods Corporation when they launched the Amatsu and Kunlun patch. Jollibee played a pivotal role because they were the main distribution network for the CD installers. They also helped out by making a Ragnarok Game Bee which was bundled with their Kids Meal.
These are just 2 examples of the numerous partnerships Ragnarok started. One can only imagine what’s in store for Ragnarok 2: Gate of the World. Take care of yourselves guys. I read in the newspaper today that there’s a supertyphoon coming.

You’ve done a great job running RO1. I’m excited to finally do hands on again with a brand. I explained some of my plans including a blanket compensation on the pending dupe cases. Will update the community from time to time via gmtristan.com

Agree ako sa sinabi ni justasking. Copy paste lang lagi CS at hindi nagbabasa ng ticket. IMO, they’re not really that incompetent, just UNDERSTAFFED. By the way, I haven’t received a reply from dupe wipeout case ticket since June 24… that’s 55 days ago! I regularly visit the CS page to check my ticket (N4J4P) and it’s always the same reply “Your ticket is currently being processed by our Customer Support Agents. Please try again later. Thank you.” Posible kaya namisplaced na ticket ko? Natabunan? /sob
