Gaming: Ragnarok 11.1, Server Merge, RPC 2007
It’s going to be a really busy year for Philippine Ragnarok Online. We just launched Hugel a few days ago, and we’ve been constantly updating the HyperMart. The Server Merge is just around the corner (April 18) and you guys will be treated to a bunch of new NPC in-game events in just a few days.
But wait, there’s more!
I was just talking with Andy and Jinn, our resident Gravity Koreans. They were asking me when I wanted 11.1 implemented on Sakray for testing. Obviously we can have it anytime soon because of the RPC 2007 campaign in Sakray, but we can probably have it uploaded a week or two after RPC 2007 in Sakray comes to a close. That would probably be around June or July at the very latest. That’s definitely good news for everyone! The action is just non-stop. Check this draft timeline:
March 14 - Hugel & Angeling Hat
March 21 - Flying Angel
March 28 - Secret (Lol)
April - Memory of Ragnarok OST
April - GTB Reactivated (not yet 100%)
April 18 - Server Merge
End of April - GTB deactivated in preparation for RPC 2007
May - Agit Lord Tournament Starts (all servers)
June/July - Arunafeltz/Rachel 11.1
Looks like Q2 and Q3 will be very busy for all of us. Hopefully you guys enjoy all the stuff coming up. I actually have one more project that’s slated for April in conjuction with the Server Merge.
Oh yeah - to all Blog Addicts, we will be having a blogging competition and it will be related to RPC 2007. I’m currently working on the mechanics with the management team right now. One of the criteria will be “Blog Age” so if you wanna win, then I strongly suggest you start making your blogs now. You can check out my Blogging 101 post if you want so you can get started.
Lastly, let me end this post with a bang! You notice how small the meteors are when wizards cast ‘em? Well, if we’re going to be more realistic, this is how the spell should look like (thanks to Okono):

PS - Meteor Shower/Storm was my favorite spell when I was still playing my Wizard :D Thanks to Enrick for being a shinning example. LOL.

OMG… kakalabs lang ng Hugel… O_O then malapit na Armor sets, Deviling hats, poring tower hats, Valkerie’s hat, Morgaine’s Hat (yeba!!!), new cards, new monster places… and most of all the Slot enhancement update for certain items like Gungnir, Ice Pick, Infiltrator to name a few.
O_O 2007 is a bright year for RO1. wooohoooo
PS: Chief, any news on the rumored classes? Death knight and Dark Collector? baka may inside info kaw mula sa korea. ^^V

activated ba ba talaga yung doppel or hanggang +3 attack speed lang talaga cya???
kasi nun previous episodes not yet implemented naka-lagay pero +3 attack speed pa rin, pero ngayun wala na yung nakalagay na not yet implemented pero +3 attack speed pa rin hanggang +3 na lang ba tlaga yun?

We might sell them at the Ragna Rally events and at the office. Since we’re only getting 400 CDs, I don’t know if it would be a good move to sell them through Netopia branches.

Kuya wauks. I was wondering, will there be a stat reset NPC( Not the skill reset NPC) when Rachel comes? I mean the patch. I’m just curious. I know that there would be major upgrades when Rachel comes out, but I’m not sure about the stat reset NPC. It would really help 2nd and 3rd job characters who plan to change their style of build rather than creating a new same class character with a different build. Because 2nd job characters can easily change their build once they transcend while 3rd jobs can’t. So, they have to think about their build properly.

I’m not sure about the stat reset. I’ll ask Gravity if they have plans of implementing something like that. Medyo malabo lang though IMO. ^^;

GTB lng ba ung na deactivate??? e bat ung maya card parang d rin gumagana?? nakalagay 30% ung chance n ma rerebound ung magic which is huge!! pero nung try namin s pvp paubos n sp nung wizard hindi pa rin nag reflect!! pero ung 3% chance ng mail breaker at sword breaker madalas kumagat bakit ganun??

Don’t worry, I’m 99.9% sure that the regionals will push through. It won’t be as big as 2005, but it will still be very competitive and definitely enjoyable.

Id like to ask what will happen to our reward points at mylevelup. I hope it wont be erased due to technical changes. Some of those pinaghirapan din namin ng guildsmen to accumulate.
I hope you have plans of revitalizing the rewards program. para ganado kame ulet. ^^;

Pano ung sa Server Merge. Ung sa Characters. for example may 3 Characters ka sa Loki at 5 Characters sa CHaos, tapos sabi ni Sir Wauks ay magiging 2 Accounts. Pano un? dalwa din ung loloadan mo? hindi ba pwedeng 9 character slot na lng?
