Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (9/12/07)

Philippine Ragnarok Online will have an Item Mall sale when the servers go up today and it will last until September 19, 2007! Your favorite “Buff Items” will be put on 50% Sale - Yes, you will be able to buy them for half the price only this week. These items are: Assumptio 5 Scrolls, Blessing 10 Scrolls, Increase Agi 10 Scrolls, Adrenaline Scrolls, Aspersio 5 Scrolls, and Windwalk 10 Scrolls. If your guild is in the running for the Agit Lord tournament and you need to get a quick boost for your character, this is definitely a good time to get buffed up.

Other than the sale, I’d also like to remind everyone about the extended duration for the RPC. It was announced yesterday that the Agit Lord Scoring and Wild Card Voting will be extended until September 15, 2007, mainly because of the GTB activation which happened last week. This was a decision that GM Tristan and the team carefully thought of, and I hope that this is acceptable to the majority of you. Here’s the official announcement posted on the Ragnarok Website:

Greeting Citizens of Midgard!

We will be doing an emergency maintenance today, Sept. 11, 2007, starting at 4PM to roll back Agit Lords Standings for the RPC 2007 tournament. This is to address the undue activation of the GTB Card this weekend. As you all know, the Agit Lords siege scores for September 8, 2007 was invalidated due to the above.

AGIT LORDS ROLL BACK DETAILS

All servers’ Agit Standings, Scores and Ownership excluding Thor will be rolled back to September 8 @ 3:59PM. Thor on the other hand will be rolled back to September 6 @ 7:59PM because of the time gap issue that they experienced. Note that ONLY the Agit ownerships will be rolled back. Characters, EXP and items will NOT be affected.

In lieu of what has transpired, the Agit Lords and Wild Card legs of the Server Representative Leg will be extended till September 15. The Wild Card’s cut off time will remain at 3:00PM.

    Sorry, a bit off topic:

    Chief Wauks, I still need help with our Industry Study Paper on the local Online Gaming Industry. My group has gotten some info already from IP e-Games and Mobius. I was hoping if I could run by a few (ok… a lot of…) questions through you sometime soon. (Kahit through YM na lang. :D). Thanks! ^_^ I’ve actually sent an email a couple of weeks ago to this email address in the LU site: “info@levelupgames.ph” with some questions, but sadly until now, I’ve received no reply at all…
