Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (7/31/07)

Today’s maintenance day which means that I post the weekly update for Philippine Ragnarok Online. We have so many things happening that it’s actually overwhelming to talk about all of them! For all servers, we have two NPC-based events - the Halloween Quest Events and the Beer Festival Events. The Beer Festival is a bit late seeing as we wanted it to go up for Octoberfest, hehe. Better late than never! Anyway, we also have tons of Item Mall updates for Ragnarok Valkyrie, which includes the much talked about Pharoah Card at only 350 PHP. Know more after the jump.

Take note that we’re also adding the following new cards to the Ragnarok Valkyrie Item Mall:

Rafflesia Card
• Reduce 30% of damages from Fish Monsters.
• Sheild
• 2000 Rok Points

Khalitzburg Card
• Reduce 30% of damage from Demon Monsters.
• Sheild
• 2000 Rok Points

Mobster Card
• Inflict 15% more damage with critical attack. If worn by Thief Class characters, it adds Critical +4.
• Weapon
• 2000 Rok Points

Pharaoh Card
• Reduce 30% of SP consumtion when use skills.
• Headgear
• 7000 Rok Points

Muka Card
• HP Recovery + 10%.
• Accessory
• 100 Rok Points

Wooden Golem Card
• Increases HP Recovery by 30%. Def +1
• Armor
• 400 Rok Points

Hornet Card
• STR + 1, Attack power + 3
• Weapon
• 100 Rok Points

Thief Bug Egg Card
• MaxHP + 400
• Sheild
• 100 Rok Points

I’ll post an update later if Hollgrehen will be already by available. I’m still waiting for Gravity’s go signal before we announce it to the public. Regarding EXP mods for the main servers, we won’t have any for this week but I’ve already gotten Gravity to approve something for November. I’ll post more on that when I confirm the dates with them. Lastly, we’re going to fix the chat/guild/party bug in Valkyrie this maintenance as well.

Lastly, take note that there will be NO SIEGE this Saturday. This is mainly because of the biggest online gaming event in the country: Level-up LIVE 2007! Hope to see you guys this coming weekend! Rawr!

    Regarding the ticket number OY3F3. Does this would really take more than a week or two before it would be resolved? Anyway they can take their time as they want can’t help just to comment.

  18. sir wauks kailangan na tlgang mapigilan ung mga bots, kinakain na ng mga bot ung vakyrie , diba tlga pedeng pk na sa buong map?

Sir wauk’s pano po ung card drop rate normal na po ba sa valkyrie server o hindi pa kasi naman hindi solusyon ang tangalin ang card drop rate for the bot’s pwedeng magbot’s sila para magpalvl up lang o kaya maghunt ng items like jur ang dami kasi bot’s sa coal mine puro assasin at rogue naghuhunt for the JUR[3]!!!

  21. siguro di pedeng pk sa lahat ng maps ksi maaapektohan yung mga non bots.. sana gawan nalang ng paraan para di maka conect ang mga bots or bot police.. hirap ksi pag pk lalu na mga wiz nagkakatamaan ng SG pag nag papalvl bad3p!!


  22. isang beses lang nag rereply si wauks. di na kayo papansinin nyan kumikita na eh. bot problem pa rin. di nila kaya ubusin bot. kahit ako mag bot ako ng 50+ na swordman isang gabi nun 2m sa loots nag kikitain q. hayz. bot rules pa rin. 7000+ bot pa din. 2000 lang talaga nag lalaro. iisa isahin na yan mga boss cards hanggang pumnget na valk server. baka after 6 months meron na GR AR dyan! ganun talaga PERA eh. wala pa rin game balance.

  29. sa tingin ko po kung di mapipigilan ang bots mas masaya kung wag na pk para di apektado non bots.. ksi yung mga lumakas na dhil sa bot kill nla mga nagpapalvl na ndi bot yun lang tnx


  30. hi wauks. as of now, many are thinking the bot problem in valkyrie cannot be solved. every day, manual players are suffering the consequences of the swarming of bots in the server. major connection issues, inflation, level and economy imbalance, these are only some of the effects of letting bots run rampant in a f2p server. the problem is, when there’s an issue to be addressed, LU always puts it off until the it’s too late and things are already falling apart. im starting to believe that as long as this company is profiting, the server is going to be left alone until it spins out of control. the same is true for the normal upgrade npc. you have no idea how hard it is to level up fighter classes with +0 weapons. but as long as LU is profiting, who cares, right? this is what i and many other people are beginning to think. i hope you will prove us wrong, wauks.

  36. wauks ask ko lng if we can have the char delete earlier than mid-november, like the day after LU Live or the maintenance after LU Live. some of us have been waiting for it and after all, no one’s gonna ba practicing anymore with their chars for RPC. ty ^^

    Meron din sprite error paglogin ko sa Valkyrie kanina. So pinatch ko muna yung commercial server tapos naglogin ulit ako sa Valkyrie ang voila… no more sprite error! ic

    pa OT naman po na kng pede sna e paki ayos po un delay messages at party set up sa Valkyrie. Hindi po kc ako mkapagpa lvl at un iba kasi ndi ma invite sa party… Thank You.
