Today’s maintenance day which means that I post the weekly update for Philippine Ragnarok Online. We have so many things happening that it’s actually overwhelming to talk about all of them! For all servers, we have two NPC-based events – the Halloween Quest Events and the Beer Festival Events. The Beer Festival is a bit late seeing as we wanted it to go up for Octoberfest, hehe. Better late than never! Anyway, we also have tons of Item Mall updates for Ragnarok Valkyrie, which includes the much talked about Pharoah Card at only 350 PHP. Know more after the jump.

Regarding EXP mods for the main servers, we won’t have any for this week but I’ve already gotten Gravity to approve something for November. I’ll post more on that when I confirm the dates with them. Lastly, we’re going to fix the chat/guild/party bug in Valkyrie this maintenance as well.
Lastly, take note that there will be NO SIEGE this Saturday. This is mainly because of the biggest online gaming event in the country: Level-up LIVE 2007! Hope to see you guys this coming weekend! Rawr!

Sir wauk’s pano po ung card drop rate normal na po ba sa valkyrie server o hindi pa kasi naman hindi solusyon ang tangalin ang card drop rate for the bot’s pwedeng magbot’s sila para magpalvl up lang o kaya maghunt ng items like jur ang dami kasi bot’s sa coal mine puro assasin at rogue naghuhunt for the JUR[3]!!!

hi wauks. as of now, many are thinking the bot problem in valkyrie cannot be solved. every day, manual players are suffering the consequences of the swarming of bots in the server. major connection issues, inflation, level and economy imbalance, these are only some of the effects of letting bots run rampant in a f2p server. the problem is, when there’s an issue to be addressed, LU always puts it off until the it’s too late and things are already falling apart. im starting to believe that as long as this company is profiting, the server is going to be left alone until it spins out of control. the same is true for the normal upgrade npc. you have no idea how hard it is to level up fighter classes with +0 weapons. but as long as LU is profiting, who cares, right? this is what i and many other people are beginning to think. i hope you will prove us wrong, wauks.

Meron din sprite error paglogin ko sa Valkyrie kanina. So pinatch ko muna yung commercial server tapos naglogin ulit ako sa Valkyrie ang voila… no more sprite error! :ic:
