Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (7/30/08)

This is the last weekly update for the month! Time really flies so fast. It’s already August which means I’ll be celebrating my 3rd year of working for the online gaming industry. I started in netGames in August of 2005 and you all know the history of the merger so I won’t go into detail about that anymore. Anyway, let’s move on the weekly update. For this week it’s mostly item releases for the mall. We’re currently testing the next patch and it will only be a matter of days before it’s uploaded in Sakray! Episode 12: Demise of Morroc, will definitely be a game changer due to all of the new kick ass features it will bring to the table.

NEW WEAPONS @ ARMORY OF THE GODS
A bunch of weapons that came from the Nameless patch will be released through the Armory of the Gods. The weapons are really cool and they have nice effects that will do pretty well if they actually proc. These weapons have unique abilities which can change the tide of battle if used correctly.

Encylopedia [2]
Book
Matk + 15%, INT + 3, DEX + 2, CRI + 20.
CRI increases even more depending on the wearer’s LUK.
Price: 3,000 Rokpoints

Blood Tears [2]
Katar
When attacking, by a certain chance, makes all enemies within 5*5 to bleed.
This is effective for 11*11 cells when the refine level is 9.
Price: 3,000 Rokpoints

Heart Breaker [1]
Axe
Critical + 20, ATK speed 5% increase.
Crit rate increases depending on the refine rate.
In case of Mastersmith and Bio Chemist, autospell hammerfall LV3 is casted by a certain probability
Price: 3,000 Rokpoints

Tooth Blade [1]
Dagger
When attacking, 20% increase in casting time of all enemies within 5*5 cells by a certain chance.
40% increase in casting time of all enemies within 11*11 cells if the weapon refine rate is 9 or above.
Price: 3,000 Rokpoints

This is kinda pretty self-explanatory. Gravity finally approved our request to make bigger boxes for two of the best sellers - the Big Bun and the Bitter Pill.

REGIONAL TOURNAMENT COMING TO CEBU
The Ragnarok World Championship Regional Tournament will be coming to Cebu this weekend! For the complete mechanics, please click here. I know I still owe you guys the day 2 video of NCR but please understand that I’m still finding time to edit it, hehe. I’ll also do my best to see if I can also make a video of the CEBU Regionals when it happens this weekend.

GAME HEROES UPDATE
Last but not least, we’re scheduled to update and refresh the contents of Game Heroes this weekend! Be sure to check the website Saturday morning. We’ll be adding new players to all the games.

  26. This problem is between level-up and smart bro provider, because as I can see, I’m able to browse other site’s except level-up site and the game itself.

  42. Sir Wauks, sabihin niyo naman sa team in charge of RO, pakiupdate naman yung download section ng ragnarok Web site. Daming sprite error pag nadownload at install mo na yung valkyrie. Pano yung nagstart pa lang maglaro. Sobrang hassle.
