Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (6/4/08)

Today’s down time was really dedicated towards fixing all the technical we’ve been encountering for the past week with Valkyrie and all other servers affected by the delays and the bugs. As you guys probably noticed, this is the first time in a long while that there were no items or sales added to the game. Now that Gravity applied the fix, our job now is to monitor and to get feedback from the community. Yes, that’s you guys.

So that sums up this post. I need your input if the fix worked. If it didn’t, then we will continue to raise hell with Gravity since we really can’t move on with RWC Agit Scoring and all other activities that we have lined up for you guys.

If you experience chat delay or bugs, please leave a comment. If you noticed that it went smooth, do so as well. Please be as specific as possible.

    my lag prin po sa valhall and it is getting worse every siege.. no prob sa pm, chat and party… ung lag+DC po ung main problem talaga

    and ung starbucks coffee mug ko rin po ala pa sob

    Request for the Vanguard’s Blessing event to be activated for those good players who collected the “Angel’s Blessing” for the time being as the Nameless bug problem is not yet fixed.

    I just recommend that the temporary portal (the one would appear in the middle of the map if this quest is completed( should be permanently open to the questors who are able to enter the Nameless Day Map freely considering they finished the Zombie Slaughter part. This is the best solution I could think of so everyone could enjoy the map.

  20. AFAIK Valkyrie is Siege is good… People are ranting like hell last night against each other o I guess it was a lagless onslaught…


  21. Wauks.. anu na ang plano ng LU sa agit lords, since na delay na sya ng 1 week, are you going to extend the duration of the agit lords? are the scores needed to pass agit lords will be reduced? or….. ?

    Yung nameless quest lang sana maayos, ang pagkakaalam ko wala daw delay ang siege sa valkyrie kagabi, sana gnun din ngyn sa mga p2p servers.

    I believe there is a flag bug mostly on SE agits, for example, a guild member that owned the agit used the flag to agitate while waiting for the emp. to been destroyed just pressing enter they will be automatically on the emp. room.

    is there anyway members of Fraility guild (Freya) members can be banned when they are very open in thier botting in the boards?


  26. Valhalla’s siege was filled with 3-10 second lag and whenever entering an agit, an unsuspected long lag occurs then gets the DC message. After siege, everything went back to normal, no lag. /hmm Last week’s sieges were ok and lag was tolerable. Yesterday’s was somewhat, frustrating.

  30. Sir, could I ask about the Nameless Island Bugs?

    Was it included in this FIX because someone posted it in RB saying that your CS told them when they called that Gravity hasn’t replied yet but since you got the recent FIX from Gravity recently, then they could have been lying to us all along?

    Anyway, I’m just hoping someone could follow up this to LU or Gravity.

    btw, iRO has the FIX for the bugs already.

    Ang hinihintay namin server stress test…

    Yung x5 for 1 week, then x4 then x3 then x2…hahaha

    Parang compensation na rin kasi 8months na rin kaming nag tiis sa Bug ng Valkyrie…
