Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (6/25/08)
Before anything else, I’d like to greet my brother (who also works for Level Up) a very happy birthday! Most of you probably know him as GM Destiny way back in 2005-2006. Other than being a Game Play Specialist for Level Up, he’s also the main man behind all the promotional videos that you see for Philippine Ragnarok Online. Talk about multi-talented eh? Anyway, let’s move on to the weekly update. I’m sorry if I was a bit late in posting this guys, I was actually meeting with one of the 2010 Presidential Candidates this afternoon - Senator Mar Roxas. You can read more about my experience meeting him in my personal blog. Okay, moving on, here’s the full weekly update for Philippine Ragnarok Online.
3x Battle Manual Removal
This is very important so I have to re-post this announcement. Like what I said earlier, we will be removing the 3x Battle Manual as per Gravity’s instructions. We will be having a very quick emergency maintenance on Thursday afternoon (wait for announcement) at around 4:00PM. This will be your last time to buy the 3x Battle Manuals from the mall. Note that all remaining 3x Battle Manuals will not be wiped - they will stay in-game and you can still use them until you run out. I guess this will make the 3x BMs rare.
Item Mall Discount/Sale
We’re having a sale on several item mall consumables including the Enriched Eluniums and Speed Potions. For more information and details on the sale, just head on over to the Philippine Ragnarok Online website.
In terms of promotions and events, that’s about it for this week. However, I’d like to talk about some of the pressing community concerns that have been raised as of late. The most hot topic right now is the Nameless entrance bug which I know has been a source of stress for a lot of you guys who have been very excited about exploring the new dungeon. At this point, I can’t really give a definite date on when it will be fixed, but we’ve already collated all the reports and have escalated this to Gravity since we launched Nameless. We’re also following up on them week-in and week-out. I have a video conference call with some Gravity personnel this week and I’ll personally make it a point to raise this issue with them again. I understand where you are all coming from and I’m definitely making this one of the priorities.
