Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (6/18/08)

Hello everyone! Sorry for not being able to post much lately. I’ve been very busy at work preparing for RWC’08 and coordinating the fix for SMART BRO. Anyway, here’s the weekly Ragnarok update. As usual, feel free to leave your feedback, comments, and suggestions. I’ve already escalated last week’s concerns and as soon as I get the reply from the Ragnarok Team, I’ll post the results here. With that out of the way, let’s go on to business and discuss all the updates for this week! Medyo madami ‘to so this might be a long read.

3x Field Manual Sachet Type
We’re releasing single unit purchases of the 3x Field Manual. The introductory price is 5 PHP, and it will eventually go up to 6 PHP by next week. More Nameless Headgear & Equipment

The RWC Fever is on!

New items from the Nameless Island has just been discovered and are now on sale for your siege needs! Take a look at our new stock:

Rideword Hat [1]
- Regains 1% of damage as HP. 5% chance of gaining 8% of damage on an enemy as HP with each attack.
- 1% chance of getting 4% of damage inflicted on an enemy as SP with each attack. Drain 10 HP from owner ever 5 seconds.
- DEF: 2
- Available in: ALL Servers
- 4000 Rok Pts (200 Php)

Blush of Groom
- Reduces damage from demi-human monsters by 3%.
- Available in: All Servers
- 2000 Rok pts (100 Php)

Shadow Walk
- When hit by the magic attack, Autospell LV3 cloaking by a certain chance.
- If the player has LV4 cloaking or above, higher level skill is used.
- MDEF + 10
- Available in: F2P Servers only
- 2000 Rok Pts. (100 Php)

Piercing Staff
- Matk + 15%, Int + 4
- When performing a magic attack, ignores 10% of enemy MDEF.
- The percentage increases depending on the refine rate.
- Available in: F2P Servers only
- 4000 Rok Pts. (200 Php)

Sea Witch’s Foot [1]
- SP 5 is recovered when enemy dies.
- When receiving physical attack, casts Frost Nova LV3 by a certain rate.
- When attacking, puts silence to all enemies within 5×5 cells by a certain rate.
- Available in: F2P Servers only
- 2000 Rok Pts. (100 Php)

Base Guitar [1]
- Recovers SP 3 when enemy dies.
- Heaven’s drive LV3 is casted by a certain chance, when receiving physical attacks.
- When attacking, gives confuse status to all enemies within 5×5 cells by a certain rate.
- Available in: F2P Servers only
- 3000 Rok Pts. (150 Php)

Let me just echo the statement - we acknowledge it and we’re really doing our best to work with SMART in resolving the connectivity. There is no hidden agenda here since we’re shooting ourselves if we don’t get this fixed at the soonest possible time. Nobody on earth wants this fixed more than the people here at Level Up. As soon as there are any developments, we will release another official statement.

    “More Nameless Headgear & Equipment” yet less nameless island quest fix.
    Siege Bug = Delay
    Smart Bro Connectivity Issues = Delay
    New Siege Bug = Delay
    Siege Bug: Bug Abusers suddenly pop up in the Emp Area of Woe 2 agits(not by leaping) that have Barricades and Guardians Stones still intact. The bug can be done anytime start or end of siege. How exactly? I have no idea.

    Strange, all iRO websites that i’ve researched describes the bison horn + thorny buckler combo effect as +10% attack speed and 5% reflect damage upon equipping and not 10% chance to activate increase atk speed. Is just typo or was the effect changed in pRO??

  27. Aha! So ayun pala yung problem sa Smart Bro. I just recently had my Smart Bro Connection kaya nagtataka ako kung bakit hindi ako makapaglaro ng Ragnarok noon tinry ko itong iopen.

    Sana maayos na yan. Isa pa naman ang Ragnarok sa mga dahilan kung bakit ak kumuha ng smart bro.
