Time really flies really quickly. It’s already Wednesday again and here’s the weekly update for Philippine Ragnarok Online. More than the usual item mall additions and discounts, today marks the first day of the Ragnarok Philippine Championships Agit Lords and Wild Cards competitions. Take note that the winner of RPC 2008 will be our official representative to the Ragnarok World Championships which will be held at Level Up LIVE. Anyway, here’s the update. Please note that there will be new additions to this so please just check back every now and then.

Finally… after months of waiting, the Ragnarok Philippine Championships starts anew! As posted in the official website, we’re going to start the Agit Lords Tournament. To give you guys more value for your money, we’re also starting the Wild Card competition as well. This will turn your top-up into “weapons” since you can use it to vote for your favorite guild. Note that the winner of the Wild Card nomination phase automatically gets prizes. Here’s a link to the complete mechanics of the Wild Card.

COMMUNITY CONCERNS
Item Permissions – This issue is already resolved internally. Expect an announcement by Friday at the very latest. I’d like to apologize to all the players who were hassled by this policy.
Foreign IP Problem – Problem is with international connections. Our ICT Team is already talking to PLDT on how we can resolve this but please note that this is something that is out of our control. It’s not that we don’t want you guys to log-in and play, in fact we want all of you to have no problems with connectivity whatsoever.
I’m expecting one or two more announcements to be released within the evening or tomorrow morning. When that happens, I will just update this post. According to the RO GM Team, they’re also releasing new items in the mall so stay tuned for those! I’ll also add to the community concerns section when I get feedback from the team.

Sir wauks, baka naman po pwedeng lagyan po nila ng item permission every item na ilalabas sa hypermart… like yung bago po, Golden Tiara, i thought pwede ikafra, ang bumili ung baby na character ko, ayun na stock, hindi siya pwede ikafra at ideal… baka po pwede sa susunod pakilagyan nyo po, nasasayang po kasi pinambili ko, hindi lang ako sa lahat na rin po ng players ng pRO. thanks.

may lag po ba or may problem ung PLDT ? nag me laro sa cmputer shop ang lag pero hindi nmn katulad dati na ganun tapos, nag try me ng online games na iba ganun din, pero bat naglaro me sa house ko ng Online game ang bilis nmn magpatch sa computer shop na pinaglalaruan ko malag sya di me 2loy makapagpalvl ng wiz ko T_T . or kulang sa maintenance ung mga pc nila T_T..

After the weekly maintenance, we were able to connect to town maps during 9am-11pm Manila time (before, we couldn’t – this was the problem). After WoE, everything went haywire again.
