Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (4/2/08)

Belated April Fool’s everyone! Don’t worry, I don’t have any pranks up my sleeve for this week’s update. We have some minor changes for Philippine Ragnarok Online tomorrow so this will probably be one of the quickest weekly update posts I’ve ever done. Since that’s the case, I’ll just use this post again to get your feedback on issues and concerns that you want addressed that weren’t talked about in my previous Community Concerns Update.

Oh yeah, before anything else, I’d like to share with you what Blizzard did for April Fool’s. They announced a new Hero Class called the Bard which needs you to do Guitar Hero controls for it to attack! Here’s the screenshot:

Anyway, with that out of the way let’s move to the weekly update!

Archangeling Card & Light Potions for Valkyrie & Valhalla
Several familiar potions will be released in the Armory of the Gods in Valkyrie and Valhalla. They’re not really that powerful but it’s something that new players will probably be interested in since they’re so affordable. There’s also a new mini-boass card. Here’s the complete list with the price tags:

Light Red Pot Box
Contains 50 condensed red potions.
The potion is very light and effective.
2 Rok Pts (0.10 PHP)

Light Yellow Pot Box
Contains 50 condensed yellow potions.
The potion is very light and effective.
10 Rok Pts (0.50 PHP)

Light Orange Pot Box
Contains 50 condensed orange potions.
The potion is very light and effective.
5 Rok Pts (0.25 PHP)

Light Center Pot Box
Contains 50 Light Center Pots.
A potent medicine that stimulates concentration.
Temporarily increases attack speed.
50 Rok Pts. (2.50 PHP)

Arch Angeling Card
Max HP +300.
Increases HP/SP Recovery by 100%, if the user has 77 or more LUK points
Headgear
4000 Rok Pts. (200 PHP)

That’s pretty much it. heh

  5. I do hope that the WoE Maps wont crash tomorrow on Valkyrie. Also, could you do something about the login problem in Valkyrie? It’s so hard to connect these days. Plus we’re getting a 1 - 3 seconds delay on chats. My ISP is PLDT DSL.

    1. Dupe items in TYR.. kc hnd ko lam kng bbli ba ko or hnd kc po sayang mura benta…
    2. Neo items na hnd naeexpired… kramihan ng nkkta ko sa Freya! sana maalis na ung mga neo items na un and sana iban nyo ung mga nanamantala dun sa bug ng neo items!

    yan lng nmn poh as of now! more power and godbless!!!

  12. Sir Wauks mejo laggy nanaman po sa Valkyrie may delay sa mga chat 1-4 seconds tapos mejo mahirap mag login kasi normally 1-5 times ako nag tratry maglogin bago makapasok. Tapos paminsan minsan freeze screen saglit bago gumalaw ulit yung char. PLDT myDSL connection po ako

    kamusta na pala ang nawawalang skill points ng aco class from Thor?

    kailan magkakaroon ng anti bot program ang Valhalla? Please do something. The bots are starting to overrun our server. Baka magaya na kami sa Valk!

    OT: Sir wauks kelan po maactivate ang GTB? i heard na babaguhin nyo raw ang effects ng GTB? Sana Nga maging 30% reduce damage from magic… Kasi Kapag complete immunity against magic it will create chaos nanaman… Magsisiswalaan nanaman ang Wizard sa Balat ng Midgard…

    -Ung siege sa Valkyrie laging may nasisirang guild map.
    -May 2-5 seconds delay sa pm, party chat at guild chat. Di pa naalis.

  37. Gumagana pa rin ang October Fest hat, 2 weeks after he promised he would remove its effects. GTB is still a worthless card. Dupes are still running rampant, the dupers get richer and richer by the day.

    Politician’s blood really runs in your veins, Waukeen. Puro ka pangako walang aksiyon. Sorry to be so blunt about it, but I just call it as I see it. Kahit na i-delete mo ito, ang importante ay nabasa mo to at nakarating ang mensahe ko sayo.
