Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (4/16/08) [Updated]
Please note that the maintenance for Philippine Ragnarok Online STARTS TONIGHT at 12 midnight. All servers will be brought down in order to facilitate a worry-free Urdr-Tyr merger which was announced last week. Again, let me repeat - ALL SERVERS will be down until noon time. With that out of the way, let’s proceed to the weekly update for Philippine Ragnarok Online.
TYR-URDR MERGE
The biggest thing to happen tomorrow will be the TYR-URDR merger. It will take us around 8-10 hours to do it so that’s the main reason why servers go down 12 midnight tonight. That way we can bring up the servers come 12 noon. For more information on the TYR-URDR merge, please CLICK HERE.
Please note that there’s a massive break-in sale for TYR when the servers go up. You can check out the Ragnarok website for all the items which will be on sale. This is a temporary thing so better take advantage of it.
2 NEW PREMIUM HEADGEAR
As usual, we have 2 new premium headgear which will be available across all servers. The first one is the Peco Peco Headband. It looks really nice and it gives you increased movement speed but it also has several negative effects. The second is the Chullos [1], which gives you 10% tolerance to the freeze effect. Here are the complete descriptions as per the Ragnarok website:
Pecopeco Hairband
Looks like it has wings of Pecopeco. Can make you move as fast as Pecopeco.
Increase movement speed. Decrease ASPD by 10%.
Increase casting time by 25%

A hat which is made by fur of many kinds of animals. It has earplugs which protect ears against cold weather. It is known as a traditional hat from some frigid regions.

There will be an official annoucement about this by tomorrow evening. Please wait for updates on the official Ragnarok Website. Don’t worry, we will patch the food already. I’m not yet sure though on how it will be available.
