Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (3/19/08)

For today’s weekly update, I’ll just focus on the changes and promotions that we will be running when the servers go up. I’ve made a separate Community Concerns post - feel free to check it out and share your thoughts and ideas. Today’s update is still big but they’re not that surprising anymore since we already announced the new item releases last Friday. The only new thing I’ll talk about is an item mall sale and a Ragnarok Online - Freestyle crossover event.

RAGNAROK - FREESTYLE EVENT
Yes, you read that right. We’re having an in-game event in Freestyle specially made for the citizens of Midgard! So if you have baller skills and you want to win Ragnarok in-game items, then it’s time to head for the courts. Click here to read more about this special in-game crossover event.

SUMMER SALE CONTINUES
Here are the new items which will be put on a 1 week sale:

Life Insurance (F2P) 10 PHP -> 5 PHP
Life Insurance (P2P) 50 PHP -> 25 PHP
Neuralizer 200 PHP -> 160 PHP
Gym Pass 40 PHP -> 30 PHP
Glass of Illusion 50 PHP -> 2.5 PHP

NEW ITEMS
We have a bunch of new cards for Valkyire and Valhalla. We’re also releasing a new headgear which is very similar to the Dragonball Z Geiger Meter (Observer). Here’s the complete list with descriptions and prices:

VIT -5.
The compounded armor’s upgrade level affects this card’s VIT bonus.

LUK -5. Adds an amount of LUK equal to the compounded
garment’s upgrade level.

STR -6.
Adds an amount of STR equal to the compounded helmet’s upgrade level.

Despero of Thanatos
INT -5.
Adds an amount of INT equal to the compounded Shield’s upgrade level.

Odium of Thanatos
AGI -5. Adds an amount of AGI equal to the compounded

Beholder Card
Enables use of Lv.1 Cast Cancel.

Errende Ebecee Card
Adds a chance of autocasting Lv.1 Pneuma each
time the wearer is physically attacked.

Orc Baby Card
Flee Rate +10.
Adds 10% resistance to Neutral property attacks.
When the compounded garment’s upgrade level is 9 or greater, these bonuses are increased to Flee Rate +15 and +15% Neutral property resistance.

Frus Card
Adds a chance of reflecting magic spells with a success rate equal to the
compounded armor’s upgrade level multiplied by 2.
When worn by Mage class characters, this card adds MDEF +3.

  15. Sir Wauks - may problema po ulit ang valk, nag map crash nanaman sa greenwood and luina sa kalagitnaan ng WoE, please paki fix na… huhu nkka asar ng ung siege.

  17. wauks many players can’t connect to tyr. maintenance effect. if you’re online, good. if u get dc, can’t connect anymore.

    marami naha-hack delete ngayun sa Valkyrie (di nman ako kasama dun) pero kawawa naman sila. may kakilala ako high prist pa naman,hack delete.
