Philippine Ragnarok Online Weekly Update (11/21/07)

Philippine Ragnarok Online gets several updates across all servers this morning! Most of the updates though are focused on the item mall and the server hardware upgrades for Valkyrie. It’s been a very rough week for everyone, and I can’t apologize and thank you enough for the patience and support of the community. Anyway, one of the changes we did was fix the log-in screen. It’s been a while since we changed it so now we finally have a new log-in screen for all servers!

ITEM MALL UPDATE (ALL SEVERS)
We included the Gym Pass, Dungeon Teleport Scroll Box (10), and the Abrasive Box (10) on all servers. For more details, please click here.

VALKYRIE ARMORY OF THE GODS UPDATE
We included the Munak Hat [1], Bogun Hat [1], Bow Thimble [1], and Hunters Bow [1] in the Armory of the Gods. For more details, please click here.

VALKYRIE HARDWARE & MASSIVE BANNING
We’ve banned more than 3,000 accounts that were caught using third party programs in Valkyrie. To also help out with the server stress, we’re going to have major hardware upgrades this afternoon to accomodate the log-ins. For more details, please click here.

VALKYRIE FULL PORING ALCHEMIST IN-GAME EVENT
This was previously patched in Thor but we’re now patching it in Valkyrie. This is a limited event that will run for a week or two. Basically you give items to an NPC and he’ll give you EXP in return. For more details, please click here.

VALKYRIE 2x EXP WEEK
Valkyrie gets 2x EXP starting today until next Wednesday! If you use a Field Manual, you can go as high as 3x! For more details, please click here.

  11. Hi, diba Valkyrie is already on 1.5x permanent? Does that mean we get 3x this week? Or is it just an increase of .5x? Thank you!

    nice observation. i’m about to ask the same question and i found ur comment. if valkyrie will double the exp mode that means it should be 3x exp. But if it is only 2x exp mode so it is only .5% incentive. right? I might be wrong that’s why i will ask the same question for clarification.

    Sir, Wauks hope you could help us on this. By the way thanks for the compensation.

  24. if you have just recently read RB then ignore this message for those who didnt visited RB yet this is the story so far…

    All Server Are Up.. loggin-in in valkyrie is smoothly succesful, the population is still 4k (not metioning teh bots), 3000 bots are banned! and yes its x2 Cheers!..

    Thor accounts will be migrated to a new server called Valhalla.. Vallhalla Server has the same settings just like Valkyrie but there will be few changes that will occur in valhalla…

    more power LU!!

  26. OT lang. This is about Thorians being migrated to Valhalla.

    1.What will happen to our guilds na pinaghirapan naming ipa-level?

    2. Yung mga creamy cards namin?

    3. The zeny we had donated to RAchel sanctuary?

    4. The passport, pass, dungeon pass na nakuha namin sa paggawa ng mga quests?

    5. What about the influx of bots? Valkyrie has thousand of bots!


  27. @Artemis: 1.) Guilds and guild levels are retained 2.) Deactivated 3.) Will still be there 4.) Will be retained 5.) We will apply the perma-ban policy and the log-in counter in Valhalla. We will also ask all remaining Thor players to be an extension of the Midgard Police.

  29. @TheDancer: Do you reach the character selection screen? If so, it’s a problem we’ve already identified. IT is already working on it.

  35. ^ That was in relation to the Valkyrie DC. With regards to the Dupe Problem, the GM Team is doing a rescan per server. Hopefully we won’t have to do another wipe but maybe we can at least go after the originators.

    at around 5-6pm, logging ins were smooth like before..but after a couple of hours, hirap na naman pong makaconnect..inde po b kayang accomodate ng server ung dami ng players?if m not mistaken, bago ako madc mga 6.5k yata ung population..Sir wauks..annu po?pls reply..tnx..
