We’re currently testing a new premium item which will be made available on all Philippine Ragnarok Online servers within the month. The item is called “Gym Pass” and you can actually use it to permanently increase your weight carrying capacity! You can buy up to 10 Gym Cards and increase your total weight capacity by 2,000. That’s like having +66 strength which is really nifty if you think about it. You can carry more potions and equipment without having to go 50%-90% overweight.
Gym Cards increase your weight capacity by 200! Maximum of 2,000.

GYM CARD PREMIUM ITEM MECHANICS
Step 1: Use your Rok points to purchase the item Gym Membership Card Box from the Cash Seller NPC (the Valkyrie version in F2P servers).
Step 2: Open the box and you will acquire the item Gym Membership Card. You cannot use this item on your own. You will learn how to use it in the next step.
Step 3: Go to the NPC named Saint Gravity in Prontera (prontera 150 280).
Step 4: Talk to Saint Gravity and he will let you learn a new skill which will increase your weight capacity by 200.
Step 5: You can purchase additional Gym Membership Card Boxes to raise this skill up to Lv 10 for a total weight capacity increase of 2,000.
Each card will probably cost around 1,000 Rok Points. It’s pricey since this is a permanent thing for your character. It’s like you increased your STR by 66 points or you got level 20 of the Extra Weight Limit Skill of the Merchant… or you have 2 Peco Pecos. Lol.
Note that this will be patched across ALL SERVERS and not just Valkyrie.

JCreator… wala na rin wenta mga wieght ngayun dahil sa link+EDP. 1 hit ka na lang din.. kung sa valk server naman lalo na wla wenta ang weight dahil sa EF kc wala na GR card. pabor na lang yan +2000wght na yan sa mga nag BOBOT. wak nyo na pansinin yan gym pass na yan. pagtuunan nyo ng pansin un mga NAGDUDUPLICATE. mas lalo ka kawawa!

Sa mga naglagay ng str sa kani-kanilang builds (kasama na ko dun), look at it this way na lang = EVEN MORE CARRYING CAPACITY!
It’ll also help to think of this update as a “New Skills” update (as due to the description, the Gym Passes let you “learn” a skill to carry more). Remember when the new Transcendent skills came out? (e.g. AB, Sacrifice, Shield Chain, etc.) People started new characters with new builds to compliment the new skills. You can do the same with this.
Of course, that’s just an option. As for me, content na ko sa current characters ko and their builds. The Gym Passes just give em some extra weight limit. /no1

– Sir, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the Enlarge Weight Limit of the merchant only increases the weight limit by 200, thus, when maxed (Lv.10), it will result in an additional 2,000 weight limit but in your statement, “level 20,” that will result in 4,000 additional weight limit. So.. this must mean that it is a typo, right?

Check nyo po sa mga stats calculator. 2 Stats calculator po yung pinagbasehan ko and I think they are pretty much up-to-date.

questions regarding Gym Pass:
1. Pag 2nd job yung nilagyan ng gym pass, macacarry over ba sa same character pag nag trannscend?
2. If yes sa #1, kelan siya macacarry over? pag nag high novice? high 1st job? or transcendent job (high 2nd job such as Sinx and LK)?

I as a player with all my usually non-STR-based characters think the only irrational solution for the ‘already incorporated’ STR builds on non-STR-based characters would be a *Stat Reset* item which would cost at least as much/more than the Neuralizer. It’s really unfair for us (Alright, for personal gain: JCreator, asintado08, at yung iba pang mga batang naglagay ng STR para sa konting ATK na tumama sa high DEF at para sa WEIGHT LIMIT), unless of course you’re going to tell me STR has its use on my Hunter/Scholar/GM Stalker.
I can easily afford to work overtime to catch that item on my character, so don’t hit on my already in-debt budget.
BUT! I also know the very bad cons of having a Stat Reset item in the Hypermart. For now, the only rational solution I know (Yung mga battle Mastersmiths pwede maging forger anytime, yung Esma Soul Linker pwede maging GM type, etcetera) would be to just buy the item or make another character.
