Personal: Why I Blog

I’ve been tagged by Chino! Bleh XD Oh well, I don’t really do stuff like this. Since I have time, I might as well. By the way, let me explain how this goes. Basically someone asks a question and “tags” bloggers who they want to answer it. It’s very simple and it’s a very nice way of spreading links (haha). Anyway, the question is - 5 Reasons Why I blog? Here are my answers.

1.) To bridge the gap between the company and the gamers. Since I was a player, this was my main complaint and now that I’m part of Level-up, I want to reach out more and listen to what the players have to say.

2.) To involve the community in the decision making process. It’s nice to hear from everyone, especially your comments, suggestions, and feedback on the events and projects that we run. I’d like to think that the Server Merge project is getting better and better because we keep listening to you guys.

3.) To give a human face to Level-up. Most of the time, companies and corporations are faceless, and people actually think that we are robotic and we only think of the revenue. Tao po din kami (LOL). Through the LU WTF Moment and LU Yosi Break Session segments, I try to show to everyone that the people here at Level-up are just like you guys - gamers at heart.

4.) To talk about stuff close to my heart - games, movies, cosplaying, and WWE. Hey it’s my blog so I get to talk about what I want to talk about. Bwahahaha. To those who can’t relate, sorry na lang.

5.) And lastly, to inspire others to start their own blogs. It’s so easy and fun, and it is a great way to relax. Hopefully everyone here decides to start their own blog eventually. There’s so much you can do and we are only limited by our imagination.

That’s probably it! Now I get to tag 5 other people who should answer this question. I’d like to call on the following: FlyFF BM Sherevar, JC Medina, Joel Tan, Toots Ople, and Chris Haravata.

More posts on Ragnarok and maybe even movies later. Cheers!

  1. Wow, this is a very good reason for a blog, not just a ‘let out’ for personal things that you need to release, but something REALLY helpful to other people. What is your personal space, now becomes an outlet for ‘kadugo’ [i mean, blood brothers, in online gaming], which helps them and makes us know info that usually LUG would keep to itself until it happens. Nice one wauks (^^,).V..
