Perfect World II has been well received in Korea since its launch in October by CJ Internet Corporation, the game’s developer, Perfect World Co. Ltd., said in a statement.
The game has achieved broad recognition as the company pursues active overseas licensing activities. At present, Perfect World II has been licensed to more than 10 countries. In the highly competitive Korean market, the game has ranked high in the Gamtricks Board with its fine graphics and in-game enjoyment, enough to be named one of the best new MMORPGs of 2007.
“I am very pleased by how Perfect World II has been well received in Korea. In the past two months’ operation of the game, it has been popular among Korea’s online game players with its interesting features and good interactive experiences. The features of the game also fit with our concept since we founded the company, which is to lead the world of Internet with interest, and to create values with entertainment,” said Young-jong Jung, chief executive officer of CJ Internet Corporation.
“We also hope to maintain good cooperative relationships with Perfect World so that more original Chinese online games may appear in the Korean market,” he added.

Thanks for the citation, Wauks. It’s really amazing how far China’s MMORPGs have come. Being the biggest MMORPG market, China is realigning policies to support the industry and this, I think, is lending a big hand to the success of Chinese titles even in South Korea.

it’s really nice to think na kahit most of the players ng china ay naglalaro ng world of warcraft, nakagawa parin sila ng super ganda na MMORPG tulad ng perfect world. :D
