Perfect World: Reviewed at MMOSITE dot Com
Level-up! Games latest MMORPG offering, Perfect World, was recently reviewed in MMOSITE dot Com. To those who don’t know, MMOSITE is one of the leading MMOPRG websites in the world. I’m going to re-post some of the highlights of the short review here today. The review’s title is “Perfect World: Is it Really Perfect?” and it focuses on the main features of Perfect World as well as the other basic stuff that you review for MMORPGs.

More details after the jump.
Perfect World is, without a doubt, one of the best MMORPG’s out to date. (Even P2P MMORPG’s.) With it’s groundbreaking character customization, to it’s fantastic gameplay & graphics, Perfect World doesn’t fail to displease. There really isn’t a background to the game, only that it’s based on Chinese Mythology and it’s set in the world of Pangu.
Graphics: 9.5/10
One of the most detailed free MMORPG’s I’ve had the joy of playing. These graphics will blow you away if you can handle them at max.
Gameplay: 8.5/10
The gameplay is mostly revolved around quests, seeing as they are the fastest way to level up throughout the game. Grinding will basically get you nowhere. The PVP system is also nice, added with the guild system, the gameplay is very decent and enjoyable for a very long time.
Community: 9/10
The community is great. Some don’t speak English, but those who do, are really nice, and will gladly help you out when you need it.
Music: 9.5/10
The music is very calming, and mood setting for whichever area you are in. The music is very well done, and the game even comes with a radio station where you can request music from the GameMasters themselves!

frustrations on PW is that the updates are taking too long specially since there are many quests that are still not translated and some show only box characters….

I would give 2/10 for Sound Effects
Sound effects of walking, running, skils etc. are all poorly done even when you set the audio at highest sammpling rate.

btw… what’s the status of PW? is it already in commercial released status or still in open beta? after the launch in megamall before I thought that signalled the end of OB but the Immortals/GMs said otherwise. The reason I’m asking is like the previous comment said about untranslated quests. sa Malysia English Server untranslated pa din? sana ung mga mount/fashion ma release na din… :D
