Perfect Party (PvP)

Background:
After the demise of the God-Emissaries Asche and JadeNight, the Path-Seekers were restless. Realizing that if they all worked together, they realized that their strength was greater than the power of the God-Emissaries alone.

This led to many a quarrel between the Path-Seekers, and tensions increased in the already hostile wars for Land. Proclamations of supremancy were heard all across the Land, yet aside from the wars and the occasional skirmish in between, there was no other way to prove it.

The last remaining God-Emissary, FelMaiden, saw it as an opportunity instead for the Path-Seekers to further their Cultivation and to advance the Path.

Seeing the Proofs garnered only by the most skilled, wisest, strongest, and fastest Path-Seekers, the last God-Emissary had an idea. With a Proof from each Path-Seeker to prove that they are worthy to enter, a Tourney was established to decide who really was the strongest in all the Land, irregardless of clan and alliance.

Eligibility: All players are allowed to join, as long as they are within the level.

Event Schedule: This tournament series will happen continuously. Registration and tournament schedules will be posted every week.

Mechanics:

There will be 6 level brackets, enumerated below:
30-39

Those in the same bracket will fight each other.
In each level bracket, only 16 teams are allowed to join.
A team is composed of 4 members.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration will be done through mail. The mail should contain the name of the team, and the members of that team. The character that sends this mail will be considered the team leader.

A set of items should be attached to the registration mail. The item will depend on the level bracket the team is registering for.

Those who registered but failed to be within the 16 will have their registration items returned.
Dates and times of the battles will be announced.
Per registration, there will be two sets of tournaments, happening the week after. Once the tournaments are done, registration happens the week after, and so on.

MONTHLY SCHEDULE:
Week 1- Feb. 08, 2008 Friday: Registration start
Week 2 – Feb. 11, 2008 Monday: Registered participants, and schedules will be announced
Week 2 – Feb 12 and 15, 2008 Tuesday and Friday: Tournament battles
Week 2 – Feb. 16, 2008 Saturday: Tournament finals (Tuesday winners versus Thursday winners)
Week 3 – Feb 22, 2008 FRIDAY: Registration Start
Week 4 Feb. 25, 2008 MONDAY: Registered participants, and schedules will be announced
Week 4 Feb 26 TUESDAY and Feb 28 THURSDAY: Tournament battles
Week 4 Mar 1 SATURDAY: Tournament finals (Tuesday winners versus Thursday winners)

When the battle starts, all teams will be gathered into the arena.
When the signal is given, all teams will begin fighting.
The last team to survive wins.
The match will last for 10 minutes . The team alive with the most members wins.
In the event of a tie, all tied teams will fight again with their full teams.
Everyone else will have to leave.
The team that becomes the champion of a tournament bracket (for the week) will automatically be qualified to join the next tournament bracket. (No more registration or items required) They will be competing at the tournament cycle that will take place two weeks later.
If ever a team fails to meet the minimum Level requirements for their next tournament bracket, they will be given the option to continue or to withdraw. In either case, no replacement team will be given their slot for the tournament.

Note: Game Mechanics are always subject to adjustments as certain elements must be fine tuned by the GM team to assure that the event will run smoothly as well as maintain its original thematic setting.

Event Rules:

Each character must be within the level bracket immediately prior to the event or she will be disqualified. (A team will still be allowed to fight with less members in this case)
Players cannot move or attack anyone while no signal to start the battle has been given. A player who breaks this rule automatically gets disqualified from the battle. (If ever his team wins, he will be allowed to join the next battle)
Winning multiple tournaments will give you a corresponding multiplier for the tournament prize you will win. An example of this scoring system is as follows:
If your team joins and becomes the champion of the 30-39 bracket, you will win the prize for 30-39, and will be allowed to join the next 40-49 bracket at no additional cost.
If you become the champion of that 40-49 bracket as well, you will earn 2x the prize for the 40-49 bracket and will be allowed to join the next 50-59 bracket.
Should you become the champion of the next 50-59 bracket as well, you will win 3x of the prize for the 50-59 bracket, and so on.
If you should ever forfeit your slot in a tournament, or fail to win the championship, you will not gain any multipliers in the next tournament you join.
