Nokia Announces New Units - E71 & E66
Apple announced the 3G iPhone, Samsung announced their iPhone killer, the Omnia, and ChinaKing came up with a mobile phone that had the capability to project. Nokia, the leading brand here in the Philippines, announced the E71 and the E66. Both of these units are business phones and have various functions that will really be great for young professionals. Both phones will be sold at around $500 USD - roughly 20,000-23,000 PHP.

It’s also thin at 10mm (thinner than my 11mm Blackjack!) with 3G/HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera (LED light only though) in a 2.3-inch screen. The QWERTY keyboard is cramped compared to the old E61i but that’s the tradeoff of making it more slim and pocket-friendly.
The E66 basically has the same features except that it’s a slider version.

So… what do you think? Personally I’m still good with my Nokia N95 so I don’t see myself buying either one of these phones.

hmmmm, kinda good already but haven’t we seen too many nokia phones already? i mean, yeah xure it has the big ass features but its kinda common now for the nokia side…why not create a new feature like what sony is doing db? ..tsaka durability concerns..i think that if nokia hypes up its cellphone life, im xure it will hit top in world charts and not only in RP. charts ^_^

I recommend the nokia e51 for you po… I’m getting one soon.. Just because of its wifi capability :D

,,,It seems gonnna be a best seller…!!! I wandering if Nokia solved the sound quality isuee on this model .. I mean considering the E51 which is a superb device but whit a mono speekers built in have seen it available on
