New Animated Premium Headgear this December!
Gravity, the developer of Ragnarok Online, has agreed to develop more animated headgear which we can use for promotions and the item mall. For December, they’ve already advised us that there will be three new animated premium headgear which we can sell through the Item Mall. The headgear are currently being developed and we expect them to be launched mid or late December. We don’t have the actual sprites but I have with me the sketches and draft abilities of the headgear. Please take the following information with a grain of salt seeing as we haven’t even seen this on our test servers.
POUTING FISH

SANTA PORING HAT
- 3% more damage to Darkness property monsters
- 3% damage reduction from Darkness property damage

- Def +3
- Slotted [1]

I really can’t visualize the premium headgear yet but I’ll get videos once these get uploaded on our test servers. For now, the sketches will have to do. More updates on Ragnarok Online and Perfect World within the day. Cheers everyone!

sir i am so sorry for this OT post, but it has been LAMOST 12 HOURS that the orc dungeon map in valkyrie (among others) has been down, despite our persistent attempts to reach customer service and repeated posts/complaints in the boards.
i hope this gets fixed ASAP, or at least we can be told why the fix is taking so long.

Animated headgears are good and entertaining all in all but I would rather like having the animated head and hair sprites implemented with them. Seeing moving headgears and even bodies with static hair doesn’t look exactly right.
In case people don’t know what I’m talking about, let me elaborate. During the early days of RO beta I was so desperate for RO Info I would scan almost any website for RO stuff. I found a Job Table containing the 6 original first jobs and novice sprites. And along with the bodies in battle ready pose the head and hair of the sprites were also animated. However I found out that this isn’t true in the game. I haven’t really thought about it for a while but wouldn’t it be cool if your character has flowing hair instead of hair that’s gelled and styled to cement like hardness.
@Wauks - Is the animated head sprite someone’s art project on the internet or did Gravity actually thought about it but discarded the idea. If Gravity planed it before but decided not to implement it, is there a possibility that it will be implemented in the future.

Sana gawin ng Gravity na animated yun guild emblem dahil nakakaboring yun di nagalaw yun symbol sa mga guild flags sa Prontera, Aldebaran, Geffen at Payon. Para magigigng complex project sa mga guild leaders at sa mga nais gumawa ng guild.(Guild creation is the most abused system sa Ragnarok!!!)
