Naruto Shippuuden 412 is one of the more interesting sub-plots in the entire series. Before I continue, let me warn you that this post may contain spoilers. If you’re turned off by spoilers and you don’t follow the manga, then I highly suggest you skip this post. However, if you’re like me and you’re sick and tired of the anime filler episodes, then you might want to take the jump to read a quick review of the latest manga scan released on the internet at Onemanga.
In this issue, we see Sasuke’s team literally get bulldozed by the Eight-Tailed Beast. First, he takes out Sasuke himself, hitting him hard with several slashes and strikes with several swords. Before he deals that death blow, Sasuke’s team comes in to make the save – but they barely even scratch the guy. This issue shows how truly powerful someone with a tailed beast is, especially if they can harness and control the energy. Karin also shows here one of her powers – which looks very vampire like except that she’s the one being bitten, hehe. Apparently she can heal someone by letting that person bite her arm and absorb her chakra (interesting).
The issue ends with the Eight Tailed Beast “escaping”, muttering that he wants to get a drink instead of fighting “weaklings”. However Karin reveals that she also has the power to track and sense and she directs the team to where he is. The Eight Tailed Beast then decides to finally call on the demon inside of him to help him take down Sasuke’s team. The issue ends with a cliffhanger as usual. Lol.
Next week’s issue will definitely be more action packed as we finally get to see what the Eight Tailed Beast looks like when it’s released! w00t!

the anime takes time… besides i believe there will be no weekly shonen jump next week. something to do with a holiday… you have to read issue 411 too to see what the eight tailed beast did to saske’s team…
