Naruto Manga 462 was just released and it was such a great issue. As most of you guys know, Sasuke’s party finally engaged Raikage in the last manga. Jugo, Sasuke’s companion and the origin of the Cursed Seal, took on the task of challenging the Raikage. For the first time since we saw him, Jugo finally showed his full release and he definitely does look insanely menacing. Synopsis and review of Naruto Manga 462 after the break.

At first, it looked like Jugo was clearly outmatched by the Raikage. He gets impaled by a devastating punch from the Raikage and he’s slammed against a wall. However despite the gaping hole in Jugo’s chest, he manages to mount a counter attack. Jugo transforms several parts of his body to canons and blasts Raikage point blank.

The Raikage manages to avoid the blast and sends Jugo reeling with an elbow strike (which reminds me of Andy from King of Fighters). In the middle of the confusion, Raikage’s lieutenants are also assaulted by Suigetsu and Sasuke. The one who previously used the flash bang like attack falls to Sasuke’s crippling genjutsu (through the Mangekyou Sharingan).

We then shift to to Tobi, Naruto, and Kakashi. Here Madara reveals the true history of the Uchiha clan and the 1st Hokage. Apparently their descendants were brothers and the two had a really bad case of sibling rivalry. This was passed down from generation to generation even up to Madara when he fought the first Hokage. Madara believes that Naruto has the blood of the hokage in him, and that this makes him in line to actually be the opponent of Sasuke.

After Jugo gets knocked out of the way, Sasuke picks up after him and takes on the Raikage. Sasuke tries to stab the Raikage but it has no effect. The issue ends with Raikage and Sasuke about to clash in an unarmed fight.

And that’s that! Can’t wait for Naruto Manga 463! It will definitely be exciting to see the conclusion of the battle between Sasuke and the Raikage. I have a feeling that sometime in the next few issues we’ll be seeing the eight tailed beast again.
