    There are hundreds of weight loss systems and products available online. I think I’ve tried a lot of them already since one of my goals in the past few months was to finally slim down. Wow, I’ve finally thought of doing this after 27 years. LOL. I suck. Yeah. Anyway, I’ve partially succeeded and after 5 months, I’ve already lost more than 50 lbs. I’m still far away from my target weight but at least I’m on my way. I just wanted to share what weight loss system I’ve been following and maybe it can inspire some of you guys to also shed a few pounds.

    1. Look yourself in the mirror and find a reason why you need to lose weight. The best reason ever though is that you’ll die young if you don’t start getting fit. Other than that, there’s the insecurity aspect which will literally stop you from having a social life. Personally my reason was that I wanted to live a bit longer and I wanted to look good for my wedding (which is in a few months).

    2. After finding your reason, you need to come up with what weight loss system you’re going to use. Here’s my problem with crash diets and meal replacements – they are short lived programs that won’t work in the long term. I tried using meal replacements and it worked for a time but eventually you will really look for solid food, haha. Come up with something that you can do in the long term.

    3. In terms of food intake, here’s what I’m currently doing now. I do calorie counting, eat tons of veggies, and try to avoid carbs as much as possible, especially during dinner. I eat small portions in between. Yes, granola bars and apples are now my best friends, hehe. The math is pretty simple: if you burn more calories than what you get then you lose weight.

    4. Now that you’ve toned down on eating and you’re conscious of what you eat because you’re counting calories, you’re on to the next step which is the dreaded “E” word. Exercise. You can’t escape it. You have to do it because this is probably a long term thing which you can do. There are a lot of exercise weight loss programs but just make sure that it’s cardio and you have fun doing it. I tried light jogging and walking on treadmills but eventually got bored so I moved on to badminton (which was fun). Now I’m thinking of going back to playing Judo.

    If you have a good reason to lose weight and you have a long term strategy for it, then it’s only a matter of time before you get into shape. I’m still far away from my ideal goal but I’m very happy with the progress. I’ll be exerting more effort to lose weight in the coming months and hopefully I can trim down another 50 lbs. before my wedding this coming August.

      congrats! iniisip ko nung una ang pagpapayat magagawa mo lng miske kelan pero dapat kung kaya mo naman mag diet hindi na ito pag papabukas pa! sayang nga ee d ako na tangap sa biggest loser asia pero i wont lose hope pa ren haha tutularan kita
