In one of the community discussions that we held for Ragnarok Online, we asked all the players why they decided to play online games. One of the guys gave this as his reason: “Kasi nakakita ako ng magandang babae naglalaro ng RO sa internet cafe.” Various studies back this up – the social aspect of online gaming is really something that can fuel the drive of a person to start and continue plaiyng. This was taken to the next level in Nevada, Las Vegas, when a couple who met and fell in love with each other in-game in Everquest 2 got married in real life. Hey – they even wore costumes, Lol. I was lucky enough to stumble upon the video footage of their wedding on Youtube. Watch it after the jump.
