You can apply for various positions at PeopleSupport, ePLDT Ventus, and Level Up. This is a chance for you guys to “Level Up” in real life so make the most out of this opportunity to join the working force.
Here’s a few lines from Joey’s interview with PeopleSupport Marketing Manager Irene Moran.
Then you have another reason to head on over to the World Trade Center for Level Up! LIVE 2008, as ePLDT Ventus and PeopleSupport will have booths there for job applicants who wish to explore a career with these leaders in the outsourcing industry.
PeopleSupport Marketing Manager Irene Moran said in an e-mail interview that this is the first time that their company has sponsored an online gaming event.
“We wanted to do this because the majority of the attendees are young adults — just the market we wanted to tap,” she said.
“This event is a branding activity for PeopleSupport. We wanted our company to have a positive impact on the Level Up! participants and introduce them to what we can offer — a company that provides a great compensation package, career advancement in a fun working environment. These are young individuals that we want to tap — most of whom are college students who will be looking for jobs soonest. PeopleSupport’s minimum requirement is at least two years in college and we also have part-time positions,” Moran added.
According to her, PeopleSupport expects to have at least 3, 000 potential applicants at Level Up! LIVE 2008.
So what are some of the qualities they are looking for from applicants?
“PeopleSupport is looking for young and driven employees. Our company is full of young individuals who strive to excel in what they do and who know how to work hard and have fun at the same time. We want to hire employees who are passionate when it comes to their work,” she said.
