Level-up LIVE 2007 is the biggest online gaming event, PERIOD. Until the day that another gaming company can bring in more than 15,000 gamers under one roof, then I don’t think it’s fair to say that they’re number 1. Last year’s LIVE was really a big thing for the industry because it showed the entire country that the gaming community was alive and growing. Ever since LIVE 2006, various companies have been approaching Level-up Games for tie-up opportunities. Anyway, I was reading the blog of my officemate and good friend, FlyFF Brand Manager, GM Atma, and I saw the latest LIVE Print Ad! I’m re-posting it here so I can share it with everyone.

Last year we hit 15,000. This year I have a feeling that the entire World Trade Center will be filled up with Gamers! Since the merger, we’ve added Fly for Fun, Pangya, Khan Online, and Perfect World. These games have their own communities and they will all be represented at LIVE. Since Ragnarok 2 is just around the corner, I’m also planning to do the first massive launch of Ragnarok 2 at Level-up LIVE. Yes, you read that right! That means that there will be game trial stations for Ragnarok 2 and we will have our share of the spotlight when we do the brand launch at the World Trade Center.

You can’t also forget about the bands that will be playing at LIVE 2007. Razorback, Loki, Kamikazee, and many others will be there to celebrate the biggest and best online gaming event not just in the Philippines, but I daresay Asia. What else is there to say? It’s time to go LIVE! w00t!

Always wanted to join this kind of events but going to Manila isn’t easy. Fare & lodging already cost at least 4k for a weekend visit. Food and others is another thing. Hopefully, this year I can participate.

@Everyone: There will be a lot of booths that you guys can check out at LIVE. I heard that Pangya will come up with a mini-golf area! Sana makapunta kayo sa LIVE 2007 – it’s definitely the olympics of online games.
