Level-up! Games is the leading online game publisher in the Philippines. As the industry leader, Level-up! has opened a lot of options not just for gamers, but also for other consumer brands. One of the key thrusts this year was to be more aggressive in advergaming. This is basically when other companies place ads inside our games. A good example would be FlyFF’s current partnership with Nestle Philippines for the Nescafe 3-in-1 Mix. There’s also Ragnarok Online’s on-going partnership with NOKIA. JC Medina, our New Media Director, is the one leading the charge for efforts like these.

In the press conference of FlyFF for version 8 a few months ago, JC was interviewed by Inquirer about Advergaming. Fortunately, INQ got the interview on video and I can share it with everyone today. Check out the video after the jump.
So what’s in store for the future? We’re already negotiating with a lot of companies and I’m happy to say that these efforts will start to materialize soon. I hope that you guys enjoy the in-game events we’ve got lined up for you. Ragna NOKIA Festival and Nescafe 3-in-1 Quest were just the beginning! Cheers!
